"Okay," said Jarl, "It's about time the contract came through." Then Jarl swiveled his arms around, pressed on the ground and pushed, hard, reversing all hundred and ten or so pounds of himself backwards... On Sakkaku. He only had to get about halfway: momentum did the rest. "I don't think you get it." he said, still on the ground, "I hired you guys as a damn demonstration! I wanted to give my students a good reason to be secretive when you slander a name! I was supposed to be attacked while teaching for a reason!"
Eyes simply shook his head and laughed bitterly.
"We can still put on a show for them if you like. But when you put out a contract, the Guild will still attempt to fulfill it, even if not all optional conditions are met. Please take note of that in the future should you want to do more... demonstrations."

She hesitated. "C-Couldn't sleep," she stuttered. "You?"
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!Sakkaku had one of his arms pinned... Also, in all likelihood, the second he started to try to get up would have been the second Sakkaku killed him. Your character's still screwed though.
Jarl's words angered Sakkaku, "Get the hell off me!" The assassin pushed the teacher off before getting up. He didn't sheath his dagger though. "You damn fool," he started, "You want to set some kind of bizarre by getting yourself assassinated in front of your students? We take our job seriously. The only reason you are not already dead is because of the way my partner operates. We are not some kind of toy for you to play with. We are not some kind of tool you use for your science project or whatever the hell you wanted to demonstrate. Now return to your students while I'm feeling charitable enough to not kill you like you requested."
Sakkaku turned around and walked next to Eyes. He still didn't sheath his dagger and he put his hand into his kunai pouch. If that bastard said or did the wrong thing, nothing could stop Sakkaku from killing him.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! She sighed. "I did as well, my friend. Something is looming. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who sees it." She had dropped her facade for once, so obvious distress was in her face.
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!"Then why did I get the same sense!?" She panicked, pacing back and forth. "Oh god, it isn't happening, it's gotta be him..."
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love! She froze for a moment, staring at the ground. Jolting, she grabbed the mage's arm and dragged her outside. "What I am about to tell you I have never told anyone, and you can't do so either, understand!?"
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love! She leaned against a wall for support. "My brother," she choked. "He has the gift... It corrupted him. He went mad with power..." She began to shake uncontrollably. "For the powers of a Lich, he gave up his soul... And our family. My dad was on a trip... He and I were the only ones left." Her voice was dull, like she had rehearsed the speech.
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!"I dreamt about him," she mumbled. "Remembered that day." She left out the part about Raize. "He told me... He was giving me a fair chance. He told me to get stronger if I wanted to beat him." She sunk into a sitting position, burying her face in her hands.
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!"In my dream...well, it was not as bad as yours...but...its still worrisome. Raize...he charged into battle again against that dragon. But it was different. Not made by that Kalein guy. Not sloppy. His sword was, on again, off again, not his usual one. It became...something terribly wrong. But I am sure its just dreams. Raize is fighting for his people after all, not for some power."
She shuddered. "I hope so." Hesitantly she glanced up at her friend. "Will you stick around tonight? I know it sounds odd, but... I'm not comfortable being alone."
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love! She nodded. "You won't... Tell anyone, right? About this, or about how I'm behaving tonight..."
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!"Yeah. Don't worry." Taysa started walking back into the house.
The Daemonic Council Meeting was called this time by Dread King Ascatha, one rank higher than the Lich Lords and a leading lieutenant of Tabarach.
Kalein reported for duty, along with several of his picked soldiers. He was not looking forward to this on any level. Most likely, his old enemies would try to humiliate him in court today.
But this time, he had done as the Dread King said, and presented the lure to Raize to go to the Iron Mountains. He would not likely be too scorned.
She got to her feet and followed, hands in her pockets and head down.
"Boo." A dark voice chimed in his ear from a thin figure that appeared at his shoulder. Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!
Taysa walked at Gaille's side, the poor thing, she was the only survivor, sans their father.
Kalein shrieked and jumped back, and into Vallegrave's arms. The older Lich said, "Get. Off. Now."
Kalein got down and then glared daggers at his foe, this new guy who had just arrived. "How dare you Boo the great and powerful Lich Lord Kalein!!"
Vallegrave just kept walking.
She leaned against the mage, wiping her eyes. Crying just made her tired...
Belven smirked. "I can't help it, you scream like a girl." Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!
She only nodded.
In a flash his hands gripped the coward's neck and squeezed. "Choose your words carefully," he snarled. "Or you won't get to speak again." Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!

"Oh, hello Gaille. What are you doing up?"
