  • Name : Brocc 'Eyes' Meldon

  • Age : 36

  • Birth Region : Shuhan Empire

  • Affiliation : Assassins' Guild of Estolia

  • Appearance : Long white hair, kept in a ponytail at the back, with a fringe falling over his eyes, which are a piercing violet, earning him his nickname amongst his guildmates. He typically dresses in a nondescript cloak with a hood, that he uses to to obscure his foreign features. Under the cloak is light armor, custom made in Shuhan, resembling a ribcage around the torso, with hidden compartments to keep poisons, antidotes and odds and ends such as wire both to garrote and climb with. The armor is painted the same color as the exterior cloak in an attempt to conceal it and to prevent rust and creaking. He also wears bracers of the same material.

  • Bio : Brocc 'Eyes' Meldon is unusually old for an assassin, especially in the hive of villainy and violence that is Estolia's capital city. He has survived due to a combination of unusual luck and survival instincts honed from his young days. Born in Shuhan to a middle class family, he was two when the decline began in Shuhan, and his parents were killed when he was five, by an "eunuch" over a petty familial feud. With nowhere to go, and fearing for his life, he fled, somehow managing to cross the river despite his young age. Ending up in Estolia, he discarded his Shuhan name, taking up the name of Brocc Meldon. He lived on the streets, killing and stealing to survive, and his skills were noticed. Taken in by the Assassins' guild, he trained, living his life day by day, until he had honed his skills sufficiently. When a mission had him near the Shuhan border, he slipped across, and killed the "eunuch" responsible for his family's murder. His willingness to accept essentially any mission allowed him to travel widely, adding to the breadth of his experience. He views the guild as home, and the members as the only comrades he has, though like most other members, he also views them as inherently disposable. Despite his experience and skills, it seems that Eyes is not of a particularly high rank within the guild, being mid-ranked at best (as far as most members are aware of), as he prefers to stay out of the limelight.

  • Personality : Like most members of the various Assassins' guilds, Eyes has a cold, callous demeanor. He has seen much death, as well as being well travelled. As a result, he is seldom taken by surprise, and death does not faze him in the slightest. His travels also allow him to blend into the local populace with ease, making it much easier to carry out missions. He is rather quiet, and somewhat paranoid. His luck is uncanny, to the point where some have said that something otherworldly has its sights on him, for it seems far too much to be a coincidence. He does not value money highly, as with his luck, it is rather easy to obtain. He accepts most missions without question, wholesale slaughter of families being the only exception.

  • Weapons : Eyes has used many weapons, but there are 3 personally named signature weapons, twin daggers called Thanatos and Asura, and katars, hidden under his bracers (activated by a mechanism on the bracer) collectively called Death's Guidance. He also carries around with him a thin metal wire, that he uses to garrote enemies with, though it is also strong enough to support his weight. Hidden within his armor are several vials of personally brewed poisons with various effects, and a set of five throwing knives, tipped with various poisons.

    • Thanatos : A custom made dagger, with a hollow blade designed to poison those it stabs. Mildly more fragile than the average dagger as a result. A mechanism on the dagger causes the contents of the space within the dagger to flow out when activated, and in combination with the right poison, this dagger can kill with a mere nick on the skin.

    • Asura : A stout dagger forged to be strong enough to penetrate light armor, Asura is used by Eyes mainly to force holes through armor, after which he uses Violet Fear to finish the job. When faced with opponents wearing plate armor, Asura can be used to damage the joints of the armor, exposing skin for Violet Fear.

    • Death's Guidance : Twin katars made of obsidian. When a mechanism on his bracers is activated, the blades spring out and lock into place. Eyes mainly uses them for surprise attacks. They are incredibly sharp, and Eyes has been known to dip them in poisons at times for an extra punch.

  • Poisons :

    • Disheart : A combination of certain wasp toxins and snake venoms, Disheart paralyses the victim within twenty minutes, though the effect manifests almost immediately, causing reflexes to slow and strength to wane. After twenty minutes on average, even the heart is paralysed, and the victim dies.

    • Nerium : A poison made from certain herbs found mostly in Shuhan, Nerium causes hallucinations upon application, and unconsciousness after ten minutes. A large enough dose destroys the mind, and the victims never wake. A small dose can cause unconsciousness of up to an hour, during which the victim appears dead to all but the most skilled doctors and assassins.

    • Scoporia : This poison, made from scorpion venom and spores from a certain mushroom, causes intense, immediate pain, and large enough doses cause insanity from the sheer pain. Eyes has been known to use small doses as interrogation aids, though he only does so rarely.

  • Other details :

    • Due to his extensive use and experience with poisons, Eyes is exceptionally resistant to poisons, capable of taking up to three times lethal dosage (for an average man) without much ill effect, though he is by no means immune to poison.

    • Eyes typically wields Asura in his left hand and Thanatos in his right. He is naturally ambidextrous, and can switch the daggers around at will.

accepted, just as a note: Estolia's capitol city is essentially two cities: the wretched hive you describe and the "real" capitol.

I see. Are they technically the same city, with 2 faces, or are they 2 separate cities geographically?

Another assassin. Nice. I was contemplating having the Guild assign Sakkaku a partner to help track down the necromancer but, unless you have other plans, I won't have to now.

this is a city divided by a river and necessity. The side on the east side of the river is the slum sector. A wretched hive of evil, sewers containing dark secrets, and et cetera. The western side? A world of Honor Before Reason, knights in shining armor everywhere, and everything is radiant.

The reason for the divide is because of an old split, Estolia was once controlled by two opposing powers, and reunited a long time ago...but the capitol still had the division.

Well Eyes is currently on a different mission, but there's no reason he can't do both at the same time. Given they've run into each other now they can discuss it slowly =P

Name: Kalein

Age: "I! AM! Ageless! Oh fine, I'm 82." (that is very young for a Lich Lord)

Affiliation: The Demon Army

Appearance: A tall, dark skeleton dressed in black robes dark as midnight, prominent eye motifs on the shoulders and chest, he has a red dot in the middle of each eye, his teeth look rather sharp, and there is a third eye painted on on the forehead area. He possesses a frightening air, and looks to be the very spirit of death itself.

Bio: He used to be a Mage Apprentice who found a book on undeath and decided to make himself an immortal lord of the dead. He succeeded and became extremely powerful, but could not figure out how to use his own powers. His master was not overly concerned, Kalein had been his least successful student, more obsessed with power than of how to use it properly. Kalein then moved up north into the icy wastelands, where he met with Vallegrave and some others who wished to join the demonic invaders. He is insinuated to have found Zero Edge, but denies it. He did have one look at the blade, but turns out he has long forgotten where it was, dismissing the sword he found as being just another sword in a stone block of ice.

Personality: AAAAAAAAAAAAAND He's a wuss. The least threatening of the Lich Lords, Kalein is a sissy villain more obsessed with looking bad and making himself a threat than anything else. He desperately wants to move up the ranks, and yet seems cowardly if things do not go his way. The dog he enjoys petting is his "little" chauberus, a huge, three headed...chau. Kalein describes himself as enjoying a good cup of tea, and, all things considered, has the mannerisms of a Mean Brit.

Weapon: A long oak staff with a hyena skull at the end.

Other: Kalein's Chauberus is named Mister Fuzzy. It is [[{{Understatement bigger]] than the usual chau, but its every bit as shy.

Name: Victor Sanholtsen

Age: 30

Affiliation: King of the Iron Mountains

Appearance: A huge, dark haired man, he radiates the ability to become a threat, but conceals it well in a confident, easy going swagger. He has long dark brown hair tied back in a pony tail, blue green eyes, and three scars on his face "gained by recklessly charging a camp full of bandits which formed over night. He was wearing only his battle axe and some light armor meant for his daily traveling. He has some stubble on his chin, and has the Tall, Dark, and Handsome look down. He always carries around two weapons: his battle axe and a pole arm. He has a vast array of scars all over himself, mostly gained from fighting recklessly.

Bio: He came to power in the Iron Mountains after his father was killed by the main threat in the region at the time: the rival Morobassi Family. Victor had the crown upon his head at age thirteen, boldly defying his regent's attempted power grab. Covertly, he had the man assassinated by his "Jiryoku Death Squad", a bunch of Shuhani assassins, killers, and all else that a Death Squad entails, who answer only to the crown of the Iron Mountains. He decided that "Iron shalt have no blemishes of betrayal. Kill them all, to reforge this state into greatness". In three years, he waged war on the Morobassi Family, making sure to personally lead all attacks. He butchered them all, making it perfectly clear by the entrails he hung from the Morobassi Home City of Celamway, which has ceased to functionally exist, that betrayal will always be a capitol crime.

After that, he set about deciding to protect his citizenry from the scourge of bandits, most of whom were Morobassi Bastards. By now, though, at age 30, he has purged the majority of his state of the influence of his old enemies. He had a son at fifteen by his wife, the King's cousin Leneia, who died in childbirth. His son is a very nice kid, but is constantly doted upon by Victor. Hurt his son, and he will end you.

Personality: Combative, a Jerk with a Heart of Gold, hates traitors, has a very big soft spot for his son Darian, who he hangs out with like he would a peer. He is a lady maker, the maids of his castle often say that he has an insatiable appetite. He is, though, a Chivalrous Pervert. Yes, he may sleep with a lot of women, but if you hurt one of them, run like hell.

Weapon: His Battle Axe, Ruination, and his pole arm, Salvation.

Other: His most famous act of "protecting his son" was when he thought a noble had kidnapped him. He infiltrated the noble's castle, held the guy at knife point, and...his son walked out of the next room, having shared the night with said noble's daughter. More or less, people have started expecting this kind of jerkass behavior from him.

Name: Belven D'Arkan

Age: 25

Affiliation: The Demon Army (I think?)

Appearance: Relatively average-sized, but his thinness and posture makes him look way taller than he is. Consistently rides on top of a small undead dragon resembling a pterodactyl. Dresses very snappily at all times. Dark hair slicked back so it reaches his neck, bright red-yellow eyes.

Bio: Gaille's big brother. He had the gift of Arcane magic, and succumbed to its addictive nature. Steadily craved more power. After a while there was only one place to go. In the dead of night he slaughtered his other 2 brothers and their mother. Woke Gaille, she chased him, but he got away.

Personality: Has a ridiculous flair for the dramatic. Consistently adheres to Dramatic conventions, even when it causes him more trouble than its worth. A little bit Axe-Crazy, but that side doesn't show much.

Weapon: Carries a collection of poison daggers, but doesn't use them often, as he prefers to use his magic or his undead minions.

Other: He's terrified of spiders. They turn him into a little girl.

accepted. Maybe introduce him in the Daemonic Council, which will be added as a new setting.

Basically, he insults Kalein in all possible ways. Including insulting his choice of pets.

Eyes still has spiders and, seeing as how he would be considered an S Ranked mark by the Assassin's Guild, would have a partner. That partner would probably be Sakkaku (after all, the target is a mage as Sakkaku is know as the Mage Killer) who could counter Belvin's magic (after all, he a lot training with it for about ten years combined with the buildup of energy from not using it often).

This is just conjecture though, seeing as how he's a villain and he won't die until you want him to.
