So there was already an article for this trope? Cool, I was thinking about YKTTW something like that, nice to see it already exists.
I have two pictures from the Tokimeki Memorial series illustrating this trope: one of Kaori Yae from Dancing Summer Vacation, and one of Shiori from Tokimeki no Houkago. Here they are, but I don't mind if you prefer the Naruto pic (which indeed has the sad face part, but the swing lacks some clarity in that frame): my plan was to create an Image Links page and add them there anyway.
Any wide shots where the person is clearly alone, and just sitting there? Bonus Points if it's at night.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. There's a wide shot of the first one, with the male protagonist sitting on the swing next to her (and at night to boot), but they're a bit far away and thus the faces aren't clearly visible, and I don't have that shot handy, I need to capture it on my game. Can do that if you give me an hour or so, so I find the save file.

"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeHmm that scene in naruto had a wide angle shot but I dont have it.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Okay, picture captured. As you can see, you get a full view of the swing, they're all alone there at night, but you can't see their faces.
(Image is 310 px wide, I feared to murk the quality by resizing it myself)

"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeWait, by playing the game I've noticed it displayed a wider close-up of Kaori than my initial pic (which I found on the web). Not a full swing display and I'm not sure if that'll be enough, but it's a bit better.

"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeIt might end up being a little dark, what being a night scene and all, but I'm gonna go dig up some screenshots of Nerine from Shuffle...
Ahh lets see here. I'll use my photobucket before I put them up on the site. While only one of these shots clearly shows the seat of the swing that Nerine is sitting on, I think the shots themselves convey both the setting and mood going on.
Actually, you can even see the look of worry on Rin's face there too.

To answer to the other propositions:
1) Post n°9, The Pope: The background distracts a lot from Naruto's swinging bit and make it hard to see at first glance.
2) Post n°14, DRCEQ: Pics 1 & 3 are the best of the bunch IMO. I just wish Pic 1 was a weenie less dark and Nerine not being partially covered up by the swing's structure.
But yeah, that confirms in my mind that an Image Links page would be nice once the topic's done.

Sadly, there's no other angles to that scene, but I was thinking of cropping the two pics together.
Dang, this is the best I can do, cropping a vertical shot with a close up.

And here is my two shot take of the Kaori picture while we're at it. I just wish I had the quality software needed to sharpen the pic a bit.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:

While Naruto does look suitably sad, it isn't a very clear picture of a swing. It looks more like a trauma rope. Since most uses of this trope start with an establishing shot that shows the whole swing, it seems like we ought to be able to find a better example.
(But it also isn't a bad picture, so if people feel it doesn't need a change, that's fine with me.)
