Guilty Gear XX#Reload: The Xbox controller was not meant for fighting games.
X-COM: Blowing up their corpses is not too good for Chrysallids, especially if you're not sure if they're really dead or just stunned.
Dark Stalkers 3: If Jedah starts to cycle colors, GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY

ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.You think that's bad? I just played Doom with an arcade stick, and my ass was annihilated by zombiemen, ala Powerglove vs Glass Joe.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.On the subject of Doom: Archviles and Pain Elementals take priority over anything except things with a chaingun or a former boss (so basically Spider Mastermind, Cyberdemon, Chaingunner, Archvile and Pian Elemetnal take priority.)
lest you be incinerated, shot to pieces, exploded, or swarmed by lost souls.
and if you see fire at your feet, GET OUT OF THE ARCHVILE'S LINE OF SIGHT IMMEDIATELY.

Feel your pain bro. Me and my friend got our asses kicked playing it through the first time as kids. We thought it was advising us to attack it, get counter attacked, and allow that to fill our limits up, the logic being that this would somehow lead us to do more damage overall.
...I'm still not quite sure how we talked our way into that train of thought.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.Dungeons Of Dredmor: If you get surrounded, you *will* die.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comDragon Age: Origins: Health/mana potions are meant to be used, not saved for a situation that's more dire than the one you're in now.
Someone did tell me life was going to be this way.Hellsinker - Purple good, green and orange bad! Basically, the opposite of what you might be used to from some other games.
Megaman Battle Network: Making a non unicoded folder is fine in the main story, BUT WILL GET YOU KILLED IN THE POSTGAME!

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Street Fighter IV: There's a reason everyone plays as Ken online. It starts with a "S" and ends with a "horyuken Priority"
You are not alone.Bioshock:
- Attacking a Big Daddy with your wrench may have been fun on medium difficulty, but anything higher than that is plain ol' suicide.
Dead Space:
- Don't use the flamethrower, it's useless on the Swarm, and on individual enemy it'll just result in you getting killed by an angry alien zombie on fire.
- The glowy belly of the "pregnant"? It's not its weak point.
- Those corpses? They aren't.
- That monster peeking around the corner? It's a distraction.
- If you play hardcore mode and think "I'll save after this difficult part so that I don't have to do it again each time I restart", you either have a whole lot of extra health packs, or you want to lose your 5 hours of progress.
- Those red deadly lasers are, in fact, deadly lasers, don't touch them.*

Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.Rare Candies aren't necessarily going to make your Mon uber.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Touhou: If you can't dodge, bomb somewhat aggressively for success.
What made me learn this? the fact that whe nI tried this I 1cc'd SA on easy. (of course, there's still a few evil spellcards, PARTICULARLY UTSUHO'S FINAL ONE I probably would ahve failed to 1cc if I only lost about 1 life before reaching her, and that was only to stage 5. I got hit by 3 bullets - this means I successfully deathbombed TWICE. and deathbombing is something I fail at.)
Unfortunately it doesn't help that much in Mo F due to being a lot less generous with lives.

An Untitled Story: Don't ever start your first playthrough on Masterful. The game even warns you.

Balance of all elements flows in the masters' bodies. To be a master, find the elements and fight the subconscious.
