This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

If only you'd never have existed...then my science can get me closer to finding Ray Palmer. And do take note that I can shrink to your size, virus.
A sentient and sapient virus, huh? Sorry to say, but your days of infecting the South Side are over. You're getting struck by Black Lightning.
I could use my knowledge and have you spread your disease to all Rinto in my universe, as I will Kuuga.
Knowledge should help, not harm.
Zogu zero gigi, Rinto. (I don't care, human.)
You're all kinds of evil.

] Hmph, you're that thing which caused something four years ago and why that year sucked.
Well good thing we're not within any physical contact to make your presence an issue here.
Still though, I hold all hope anything like that that doesn't happen again with any planet. aroo.

] Yeah, a weird outbreak happened around here too back then, I hated that year.
Social distancing and masks wearers as far as the eye could see! Eff those days.
I already had to deal with something similar before thanks to the amoeba boys.

So it was a global outbreak? It possibly happened here as well, it was just before I was created…..2020, you say? I was “born” in 2030. Plus, I…never went outside when humans were still around…there…wasn’t really an outside to go to. ![]()
You don’t have to be rude.

] Possibly, we've caught some weird stuff beforehand. This place ain't immune to infections.
True, we sometimes had to help deal with these issues if they got intensely dire for our planet.

] My sis and I are from the future too as we originally accidentally time travelled to the past though we managed to learn how to do it on regular basis to visit our Tama friends in their time period.
It certainly too some time to get used to it. Speaking of humans, they're often not on our planet though a human named Tanpopo can here long ago by accident and helped the planet with a sun issue.

Good afternoon! Okay, I'm actually not in the best mood. Anyone know about the Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition game? It does have some NES classic games to play there and most of the gameplay is revolving around speedrunning sections of the game itself. I remembered the glitch on Donkey Kong where you could skip most of the first level by going down the invisible "stairs", but here? The game punishes and calls out your cheating, and forces you back to the start without resetting the timer. I guess the developers are very aware of these glitches.
So basically you have to beat the game without "cheating" by using obvious glitches that would've saved a lot of time. That being said, unfortunately(?) not all of them are caught, so it would still make some records faster than normally you are supposed to be. To be honest, I would've prefered a fair competition since not everyone is that aware of such exploits...
Oh, No... Not Again! The jamming is back again.
This shit just keeps gettin' worse each day...

According to that earlier message, the jamming got very severe to the point English isn't working for him anymore. Crap.
Oh no, that's a real problem. Hope that gets fixed somehow. At least we don't have to worry about that virus (for now).

Ah yes. Jamming so severe the English word "Jamming" appears in the message in plaintext. Must be some really odd jamming method the attacker is using.
Hey, it's silly! :3

If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.

] Morning Milky! Have you been sleeping any better? I heard about that situation from yesterday.
Sensational sleep is important for a good start of the day. No disruptions for us outside of nature calls.

Well.. We did the the ritual but nothing happened.. For most of the night anyways. Our dreams were normal until Well.. I’ll let someone else explain it.
My dream turned into a nightmare since I did see something. I was in a shop of sorts that turned into two suns fighting each other but then they stopped and I saw why: there was a human. It looked human enough but the closer they came, the less they felt human and I swore they were flying. I could tell that there was a sort of glee they got from hurting others. They grinned at me before they leapt at me but that’s when I was pulled out of my dream.
Like woah, that's certainly a mondo bizarro dream you had Diana. Also it's cool to see you here again btw.
I can't even imagine our sun getting into a fight even through dreams since Sunnytchi is usually a sweet guy.
