This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Oh, poor darling. I might know something that would cheer you up! A wonderful roast chicken dinner, just for you. How would that sound?
The ink flows into a dark puddle, just move your hand- write the way into his heartBut I was thinking afterwards, I could take you to see a most marvelous show! You'll get to see Mr. Bobo's marvelous parade of scurrying rats, or, if you'd prefer, the late and great Ms. Spink and Forcible, actresses who form the most daring duo ever witnessed! Your mood might improve then.

The ink flows into a dark puddle, just move your hand- write the way into his heartBut there are so many other things we could do together! I could make you a nice supper, and afterwards we could sit down and do some paints or embroidery, games of pinochle or bridge in the parlor room. We could all be like one big happy family, forever and always. All you have to do, of course, is pay me a visit sometime...
My door will always be open. And I'll be ready.

Consider this a Public Service Announcement, brought to you by UltraNet.

Sorry about going dormant. The sergeant in charge of the defense at my outpost decided it was time for everyone to move some of the supplies to a more "Defensible" area. But in truth we only moved them into the place they were supposed to be to begin with. He moved them from that spot when he decided that the area they were currently located at was not a effective use of space. I find it strange that we're supposed to be clones of the same person but we think so differently. What do you guys think?
The man of a million outdated referencesHello. Relax, they are gone. I am typing in human small letters to ease you.
If Satori read his mind, she'd realize exactly why he was so murderhappy. Simply put, he had the mindset of a child, and the arrogance/Blood Knight tendencies of a certain fairy, with a dose of Evil cannot comprehend Good.
So, how is gensokyo?

You can try. It's impossible, but you can try.
