This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Hey all, Scott here!
Got some new lenses, cost me a fortune... b-but they're still not as expensive as the Octopath Traveler Wayfarer's Edition.
See, my problem with these is that they're too goddamn expensive, for almost nothing. I mean, what the hell do you get with this one? The game, cool, cute little bonus.
A world map, put that up against the rest of my paintings.
A replica coin... what the hell do you want me to do with this? Eat it?
The sound selection on CD... man, just give me the f*ckin' soundtrack.
And an 8-page pop-up book...
...For 100 bones?
I mean, sure, this offers far more than some collector's editions that cost more, but like... the hell do you want me to with all this junk?! Just give me the damn game plus the next one! Doesn't help that a bundle of both Octopath I and Octopath II together regularly cost less on sale, and those by themselves will give you hours of entertainment! With this?
I'm just gonna put it up on my shelf for it to collect f*ckin' pennies!
ooc: oh dear god i think i've finally found the (almost) perfect character to rant about video games without sounding forced
Welcome, my little friend! Or should I say...friends?
Uh... well, I hope you have a nice birthday. Because mine will be on that date too.
Now what?
Sc... Scott the Woz? Is... is that really you?
The- the Wendy's employee?! You're here too?!
Oh, hey, Wendy's Employee.
Ren
...how many times do I gotta say this: who the hell are you?!
Oh, right; that was quite rude of me, wasn't it? My sincerest apologies, sir.
Um, my name is Ren Hazuki, and- I know I don't really look the part, but I'm... actually a really big fan of your YouTube channel. It's been a really great way of learning about about video games, and-
AITA for telling slanderous gossip and provoking the eagle and Nidhogg?(For [1]
)
Espresso: "Nah, you see, there are reasons why most babies are born in August... and also September. Basically, most babies tend to be conceived from November to January... because the festive aura and colder weather encourages more people to huddle up and-"
Static!Miku: "ESPRESSO!!! NOT IN FRONT OF THE KIDS!!!"
Espresso: "...Miku... you're a grown woman who's been stuck inside a tele for years and you act like knowing where babies come from is a bad thing...?"
Static!Miku: "What??? It's so scary and gross!!!"
Espresso: "Oh really? If 2 people didn't have sex all those years ago, you wouldn't even have EXISTED."
note
I literally cannot make out with a television the fuck
Wendy's Employee
Sounds great! It's still on my bucket list, bein' a dead corpse and all that. Weirdly, being a ghost isn't on there.
...I should probably get on that sooner.
Ren (about her name)
...Who the hell is broadcastin' all my unhinged rants?
Ophelia
& Ren (about Wendy's Employee's death)
Oh, yeah, I know him and his brother and his cousin. Attended his funeral that one time. Pretty cool, got to see his corpse. Nice time all around.

...w-wait, so you're not the one running the "Scott the Woz" YouTube channel? Who... who is, then?
You... um, you seem really casual about this. Surprisingly so, actually.
Si- Silent Hill?! Forgive me if I'm wrong, but- but you mean as in the famous horror game franchise?! You're in Silent Hill?!
I... don't think he has a name, though. I agree that calling him "Wendy's Employee" all the time is a bit of a mouthful, though...
Perhaps we could give him... a nickname? For instance, Keke-san likes addressing people by the first syllable of their name repeated twice- she calls me "Renren", for instance- so perhaps we could call him... Wenwen-san? A-am I doing this nickname thing right?
oooh, who wants kasumin's attention- LANZHU-SENPAI?!?!?!?! Σ(OДO ᵕ)
Oh, hello, Lanzhu-senpai! Welcome to the forums! Now, I assume this likely relates in some way to Yukiko-san?
Wenwen sounds adorable~! A bit strange that he doesn't have a name, though...
Aah...hello, forum of the...evening. Haaaaaaaah....I'm very sorry for my question last night...
"Every time I look, they all seem to multiply / The scΛrƨ that run my mind"![]()
Simply the meaning of satisfaction.
...I don't eat non-sapients. That's just fucked up.
Lanzhu: ”That is correct, Osaka-san. It seems your “scriptwriter’s intuition” is serving you well. Indeed, we haven’t been able to find out anything about this “Yukiko Negitsu” individual. All we’ve been able to learn is that she is friends with you two. Could you tell me a bit about her so we can see if she’s a good fit?”
For the record, I’d like for “Yukiko”’s true identity to be a secret to the non-empowered Nijigaku cast, at least for now. Also, hopefully it’s in-character for Lanzhu to use Last-Name Basis
