This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Yes. let’s make this clear now: I’m not here to bash her or anything. I’m here so we can just have a civil discussion regarding this event. I’ve seen how heated things get here before and I wish to have a civil discussion about Uriah and how we can all move forward. Before a Flame War occurs.

I just had to make sure that she wasn't gonna kill you or something.

This isn't the kind of thing that normally ends that way. I am curious how you want to continue regardless.
Right. So the killing thing: I feel she shouldn’t be persecuted for that. From what can be gathered, she was trying to just this person happy and she drained too much of their blood. No malicious intent. Compounded by the fact she seems genuinely upset that she did kill someone. No intervention required in both my and Lueani’s opinion.
...you're completely correct, and I completely agree. It just er....it was a bit shocking for me, as she...suddenly switched to me right after she found out they were dead, b-but I don't blame her. I've killed too many on purpose to blame her.
"Every time I look, they all seem to multiply / The scΛrƨ that run my mind"Good. The next matter is how to move forward. The first thing is to cheer her spirits up. Judging from the post and her intro I heard about, she’s like you Roe. Trying to make as many people happy. And I feel she needs to see that she can’t make everyone happy and that as stated, killing one person by accident isn’t the end of everything.
... I... honestly don't know the situation too well, but... do you think maybe that could be because she wanted to hide something from... you?
Now what? [1]
Hmm.. can she still hear us or is it only from your end?
Hmm.. Mr. G may be into something. It’s possible she’s hiding something because she’s scared. Scared of something happening to her on here. Perhaps she feels that her introductions gave people mixed feelings about her and now that this has happened, she’s thinking about what everyone could do to her. Yes I know she only became sentient recently but maybe it’s like Lux where she Really Was Born Yesterday.

But what would Uriah want to hide? It's not like anything she does wouldn't be easily spotted by Roe, it's almost all posted on the forum, and even then, they share a body, Xe would figure it out!
that tracks. It's an "oh, shit I did that." situation, they've killed once and they're scared to do it again.

arsonistShe's not, no.
...she says she's too hungry to contain her urges if she ever comes back. That...that now that she's experienced killing someone, she's not going to be able to pu--to er...t-to stop taking blood until her victim's dead.
"Every time I look, they all seem to multiply / The scΛrƨ that run my mind"
...yeah, I don't think Salmonids would take too kindly to... hey wait. Don't salmon believe that they exist solely to be eaten?
Yeah, they do...
So... they probably wouldn't mind if Uriah had a snack sometimes.
Knowing Normal probably talked with Eisner and they're both obsessed with splatoon I just knew.

I prefer dubbed audio for works in foreign languages because they can translate meaning better.
