This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

] Eh, good music will do that to you if it takes priority on your mind even when you multitask.
Kaha, never made grilled cheese sandwiches myself honestly so you got further than me.

How interesting, reminds me of building things myself. Glad things are going well for you Sol!

Yeah, I'm an inventor. I've made many machines and experiments within my home!
He also made made his littler sister Hapihapitchi too by a kooky laboratory accident!
Eh, no wonder she's quite like the Puffs. Same type of bubbly birth origin as them.

Rex: Oh speaking of constructions, we're making big progress on those here too! Lots of people have homes now, plus a couple hotels, parks... we don't have to sleep in camps anymore! City is actually looking like a city!
MkayRose
Dani: Just don't burn and let the cheese stick like I do and you're set really. My culinary expertise is still dang lacking just when I thought I'm getting better at it.
[1
] Well that department does take some practice for decent progress.
Even still, at least you know how it's done for others to make that meal.
Either way, cooking isn't everyone's strong suit, I prefer gardening tbh.

Rex: Thanks! Can't deny that it's rough though. I mean I don't mind doing some of the heavy lifting since I still got my powers and all but heck. Tough for ya'll too over there?
Steven: I think managing everything is just as rough myself.
Rex: White's on that one. Thankfully. Or not. Not doing good for his hair there. Think I saw some tiny bald spots too.
MkayRose
Dani: Shoot no way I can pull off gardening.
Danny: Not like we have a garden in the first place.
Tome: Well then try planting small stuff maybe. We're doing some at the office. Brighten things up with greenery.

] That can be more difficult depending on who you ask but it's certainly lovely when you learn how to let the plants bloom!
The plants in our world often love to hear the calmer songs Lovelitchi and I make too! It's always satisfying during the time in spring!

Tome: Aww that's so cute that you sing to your plants!
Danny: Wait shoot, genuine question. Does that actually do something? I mean sure Sam's somehow running an entire greenhouse-
Noah: Your girlfriend runs a what?
Dani: Wait really?!
Danny: I'll give you a tour to that someday. But does music really encourage plant growth?
Steven: Eeeh it's fun talking to plants. Like talking to your pet in a way!
Tome: Yeah!
Danny: Okay but uh...

] Yes, it is very possible for plants to grow just a little bit more with certain music tunes playing though it's advised to stick with softer tunes with rather calm and tender melodies.
Anything that's more on the easy side like classical music with the smooth vibrations can help them though anything too harsh like metal might make it a little rough on them.

Danny:...Crud I didn't know that. Good to know, good to know.
Dani: Noted. No rock music to plants. Plants don't like it. Gotcha.
Noah: In fairness I don't either.
But seriously. Your girlfriend has a greenhouse?
Danny: I know, I know. Big project for a teenage girl.
Steven: Sorta have a conservatory back home myself too. Tried to pick up gardening in the past but that got... a bit out of hand. Was a fun hobby though!
Noah: ...I don't think I can even grow a sunflower right back here. Then again, city environment. What you gonna do.

] Yeah, that's pretty impressive to have a greenhouse at that age honestly! She should be proud!
Sorry you had a pretty rough time with gardening Steven but at least you enjoyed it to a degree! aroo.
It's possible to grow those in a city area but they don't last as long. Droopy sunflowers look rather sad.

Danny: Still no idea how Sam does that and her grades are better than me. That's... I admit that's indeed mighty impressive. Actually respect her for that too.
Reigen: Good time management.
Danny: Dude. This is a greenhouse we're talking about. Not like, couple of potted plants.
Noah: You never thought to ask her yourself?
Danny: "People don't give enough respect to nature nowadays and I'm taking matters into my own hands." Something like that. Frig, hope she doesn't get possessed by Undergrowth again with that attitude.
Reigen: See? There you go. Good enough reason.
Noah: Yeah man.
Dani: I wanna see this greenhouse.
Danny: Uh, maybe this weekend.
Steven: I admit that gardening is a bit easier with powers though. But then again that's the reason it got me into trouble soooo.
Danny: Bad news for me then. Cryokinesis, not chlorokinesis.
Tome: Eeeh sometimes Mob can, like, speed up the growth of our plants to make it bore fruit. Good for a quick snack!
Noah: And you don't get sick from that?
Tome: It's just fruits. Wash it a couple times first and presto.
Reigen: We really just have potted plants around for the aesthetic really.

It’s gettin’ better, but yeah, still pretty rough. Always new problems to deal with, especially in the fields. The Helios colonists are still gettin’ used to us, and a lot of people are still skeptical about the peace deal. But aside from that, it’s pretty good!

] Just enough determination and skills can lead to such a thing for anyone I'd say. Especially when you wanna beat such a phrase like that.
I personally feel like it's more healthy to let them grow naturally but that's just me tbh. I wouldn't hold it against others for using powers if it's safe.

] Yepperoni, it's one of her favorite words to increase encouragement inside.
It's an effective tool to keep going on I'll admit. The will to keep being strong too.
Wether you have super powers or not as well imo, it can make feel empowering.
