This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

...killing everyone isn't new to me, i've had the same threat happen to me before, but going to replace everyone is completely new. huh.
Not gonna solve anything. Kill everybody and nobody'll be there to improve. Replace everybody and they'll inevitably become something else you'll wanna fix (or worse, they won't become anything and stagnate). Opposing viewpoints're part o' life whether ya like it or not. Let people do dumb shit and sort themselves out. Better that way.

…hm. An interesting take. I admit, that plan was flawed. I had a better one this time…but I was thwarted. Again.

Noah: Still think Rex is overthinking this. Dude, Prov. themselves agreed to rebuild his city right? What's there to refuse and hold a grudge on?
Danny: Rex, don't be paranoid like me. My advice.

Steven:...I see. That's... indeed horrible.
Eisner
Well the Diamonds from my place... I don't think they're genocidal, more like what they did to colonized planets, what they could do to Earth before abandoning it achieves a similar effect. In other words, horrifying. They don't view any lifeforms including their own in a positive light, though that's more a White problem.
But they've been doing a lot better now though! So that's nice.
Klom99
Rex: Good point, man!
Noah: Exactly. Mistakes is what drove us to be better.

x4 yyyep, exactly.
it's always the thing with people who try genocide—they never see that there's always a few outliers within the "cruel everyone" umbrella they use. there's usually enough outliers to fill, like, a whole country. and they're usually enough to either make them regret it, or just outright stop.
always strange.

yeah, yeah, i'm alive, hello to you too, 'Ru, *kiss on the cheek*, Umi. miss me?
always nice to hear when someone's reformed.
YOU WERE GONE FOR WEEKS IDIOT, OF COURSE I MISSED YOU— *sinks their head into his chest and cries* …this is why i don’t get attached…and you’re right of course you are you always are t-that’s why i decided not to kill anyone but they STILL—

Oooh, how lovely. Well, add the fact that the name calling sounds like someone I know. And of course changing their views for the better! Just like what I did to Eli-chika...
I see. I know already that I was the Obstructive Bureaucrat that won't permit μ's from doing their activities. And yet, deep inside, I didn't know that it was going to be wrong until after Nozomi talked to me about it...

Rex: Good for you, dude!
Protection and power are overrated. I think you are very wise to choose happiness and love. Current avatar: ConnieHad to leave for a few hours, but one thing I did notice when I came back was a pair of stones in my pockets. One of them is labelled "Troy", and the other, "Wally", I think. There was writing on the backs telling me to bury one in the ground and see what happens. Could be useful if I'm in a pinch.
Now what?
Okay then, see how that works for you. Looks like things currently slowed down.
Well it was that time where some people had to get some good sleep like us! aroo.
Yup, not to mention I think about after so many posts (14 pages) it's necessary.

Tome: Late but hi!
Steven: Hey!
LackingEff0rt
Tome: Sounds like a mystery! Love those.
Noah: More of a riddle.
Danny:...Or maybe it's just stones that someone write that on them. You know, for kicks.
MkayRose
Tome: Supposed to pack up some essentials for tonight's case.
Danny: Like?
Tome: Flashlights, salts, garlic bread...
Danny: I thought salts does jack-all against spirits.
Steven: Why garlic bread?
Tome: For snacks. Can't let food go to waste.

] Wow, around 350 post! That's got to be a record for this year at least lol! Didn't think we get a day like that soon! You didn't even really seem frustrated by improper responses like Tuesday sis.
I'm over now sis besides, it was pretty engaging and I was just feeling the painful morning stress. [2
] Good thinking, having some snacks could be helpful to keep your energy for the tasks.

Steven: Oh man, 350 posts is a lot...
Rex: Makes the slump during late December and early January appears more obvious.
Tome: Truth, that is a lot.
Also Reigen told me to bring that to... um... give the client something to be 'occupied' with.
Reigen: Just making sure no one goes into the attic while we're in there. Also told Mob to bring in some rice balls too.
Steven: Um, are those bread stale?
Tome: They're a bit dry but the garlic flavor's still on point. I should know, I tried one.
Reigen: Point is if the client's kids went in, things could get ugly. So, figured snacks would be a good thing to keep them out of there.
And Mob's been practicing on rice ball making skills.
Tome: Gotta ask him for one after this was over.

] Ah yeah, we needed a day like that! So glad we decided to bring up a certain group who'd came back when we mentioned them too!
Can't help to agree Hellhound. Sounds like the bread be an efficient tactical choice too, blazin' good ideas comes in many different forms.
Mmm, definitely wouldn't mind having some rice balls.[2
] Oh hi Elijah, we were looking for you yesterday. We're still sorry that happened to you.
