This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Noah: Totally different than those back at the States. I mean that one's good too of course.
Rex: Told ya. Different levels. Gonna be sad to be back home after this?
Noah: ...Not really. Okay maybe a little.
Murataku
Noah: ...I didn't even know what happened. Do I want to, though?
Rex: Curious too but I've a feeling he ain't listenin' to me.
Noah: I mean wasn't like I mind what people say about me. Having a superb time here so that's what matters really.
BlaseSonOfAGun1988
Oh, see you around I guess.
Rex: See you around!

Noah: Hey everything is good here so far so. If by gloom, you mean sad movie moments though... but really though, thanks. Things are great. Yeah.
Rex: That's fun gloom. Nothing to worry about.

It's not hard, Blondie. You just have to do one little thing. If anyone comes around runnin' their mouth and sayin' I called you "tolerable", you tell 'em to shut their lying yawp! We clear!?
.........Oh, yeah, no idea what the big secret is.
Thanks for the warm welcome, Furifuritchi and Milktchi
.
So... what else should I share... I also like drawing. They're not awful but I wish my nightmares weren't my only muse recently. They don't happen often but they've been recurring for a while...

Rex: A lot of Providence agents had nightmares too about the Event. Heck I have some bad ones too but thankfully it's getting rarer. You can't cure it completely but you can manage it at least! Having and making happy memories help fight them.
Noah: Yo Rex, Tuck's about to start.
Rex: Right. Talk later!
Be back in a bit.

Protection and power are overrated. I think you are very wise to choose happiness and love. Current avatar: ConnieWell, there was this little girl who liked getting scared, and her parents took her to the new travelling circusy carnival place called the "Carnival of Doom". It was free to enter that night, according to the clown with the sunglasses at the counter... but when the parents weren't looking, the clown turned up his sunglasses and the girl saw he had no eyes! Just black bleeding sockets! But when she told them to see for themselves and ask the clown to put his glasses back up, he suddenly did have eyes. The parents thought the scariness of this place was getting to her but she swore she was telling the truth...
(Might have to break this into chunks since I'll be making a few pit stops. I'll BRB.)

Not the scariest thing I've heard either though I respect her feelings about it.
Just imagine dealing with that in sight would be a pain at least the last part.
Just gotta hate when no one wants to take your deep messages seriously.

Ehh, I never really get nightmares, except a few about Gos, but we're not discussing those in present company. Gos doesn't get them either. You'd think she would, but she doesn't.
....I'm gonna regret asking this, but do you...
Wadda you think?
Yeah, figured as much.

Hmm, wow. That's honestly quite surprising.
Well some people just don't get them I guess.
I wish I was able to always have good dreams.

Ha! Some father you ar-
Do I need to tell your guards you're misbehaving?
You need blood and he's got more than enough!
Oui, she probably wouldn't want you to worry since she likes to handle that kind of stuff. She probably likes those types of dreams
She wouldn't want to get all mushy either I bet too babe. Also I could bring up someone regarding parenting but nevermind that.

When Dracula's Curse is manageable through grand melodies. So
, the mother promised her that nothing bad would happen tonight, and the girl decided to soldier on. Then there was an announcement, "Tonight's spooky festivities are about to begin. Please enter the big tent." So the three of them sat among the audience, the girl staring off uneasily, until this one-armed bald guy welcomed everyone and introduced the man of the show...
The Master of Ceremonies
The King of the Carnival
Emperor of the Night
and Friend to No Man...
Then this... figure made his strides from the shadows across the walkway center stage. Shiny pointed boots and a cane that made the audience stomp with every thud against the planks. Clad in sparkling, black and white striped pants, a blood red jacket, and the top hat that was his namesake.
The crowd applauded, the parents shrugged in amusement, and the girl kept staring.
Mr. Tophat then disappeared behind the curtain and the lights went out. Bartholomew said to remain seated as there were technical difficulties. The girl asked her parents if they could go home... and just as the lights turn on, Mr. Tophat says "It's alright!" ... from right behind her.
She screams, and Mr. Tophat replies, "Very good scream! Use that one later." He proceeded to tell everyone not to be alarmed, that regardless of the frights they may experience, it's All Part of the Show. The girl took his word and smiled along with him. The lights went off... and on again, and he reappeared on the stage.
((Huh, I still remember it all word for word. I hope the length of this part isn't too imposing- I'd say there's one or two left.))
