This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

No...
Eh, I do watch entertainment back when I was younger.
Oh, give me some time...
Soyo's facial expression changes.
The bomb thing? It's... complicated.
I haven't been accessing this thread since a long time ago.
Ceri sounds like a pretty good name.

Dragon Ball is an anime about a punchy boy named Goku that can turn Super Saiyan and he's only ever interested in fighting strong opponents.
Hibiki-chan has some similarities to him now that I think about it, namely, both eat a lot, both are Book Dumb, and both are hot-blooded among others.
Yeah, that was me who did that. It was a ploy to make people work together. It wasn't actually a bomb, but something that looked like one.

Wherefore comest thou here?
Huh...
Wait what? I mean sometimes I do have personalities pretty similar to her, so... how do you explain that again?
Ah, good-old classic Stock Shōnen Hero stuff. Though, I would say that Kasumi-senpai has a little bit of differences. For example, she can be... quite squeamish as soon as anything that is horror-related in the slightest hint such as zombies show up.
Kasumi: AAAH! Anon-chan why did you mention that! I mean most Zombie Apocalypse works are scary, okay!?

x3 Don't like zombies or vampires huh? I had to fight a vampire once and he was a bitch to fight! I've heard there's a device that can turn people into vampires…
x2 there are more forms of Super Saiyan.
The first does it best in your eyes…

] How did you end up that way if you don't mind sharing?
It's doesn't look bad but you don't seem pleased with it.

Ummm... I tried at times to reassure Kasumi-chan that she doesn't need to worry as long as she's not in actual danger, but on the few times I succeded, the next incident where something horror-related happens, she just goes back into being scared of horror. She just dislikes all kinds of horror, unlike me, but please go easy on her...
