This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Eh... it'd probably still fall under anti-heroic at best.
: Unless that you can give life force into others too.

you don’t have to keep calling us “Inkfish” y’know. :/
There are Inklings, and then Octolings. Memorize it.
…It’s ok to not be fine.
Yeah, we can talk if you want. :)

] I'd probably agree since life draining could still be a cruel to villains who aren't too evil, everything isn't black and white.
Giving life force to help others would be just the better option to do unless draining is required from villains who deserves it.

When Dracula's Curse is manageable through grand melodies.

] I just hope you use it on threats rather than innocent beings.
Oui, I would advise using it when it's necessary and wisely honestly.

I know that what Reigen said has some truth to it but I can't think of an actual, good use of life draining.
Maybe a quick, painless way of doing euthanasia or some other form of mercy killing.
Protection and power are overrated. I think you are very wise to choose happiness and love. Current avatar: Connie

] Yeah, I can see what you mean about it. There's not much good with it.
I mean there's still true monsters who could be good to drain from maybe.
But you wouldn't want to become like them or have their blood either I bet.

] Yes, I wouldn't want to do that myself, I don't have the heart to do that. aroo.
I'm not sure about it either, it feels more heroic to take them down without it imo.

] (I'm sensing something going on here that might be relevant for the future).

Exactly the point there.
: Okay maybe some powers are evil but just having them doesn't automatically make you evil too you know? Should have phrased that better, my bad.
[1
] Not to worry, it's fine. It isn't the easiest thing to explain when it comes to powers and what others do with them.
I know it's not always the case but some powers are often with a side for a reason based on their usual purposes.
