This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Well, she's actually surprisingly right. You're also correct about the reason; but still, the thing that happened on Hiroshima and Nagasaki are just horrifying. Though, to be fair... our country took too much pride in early success.
And pride comes before the great fall. Maybe after all some of us might have took our success as an exaggeration of thinking we would be destinied to be successful.
Excuse me for coming in out of a sudden, but...you do look like have the image of a soldier, right? Are you perhaps from yet another alternate real-life based universe somehow related to another World War?

Nothing solves a day of depression better than a warm smile.
That’s a bit oddly specific.
Well, to cut a very long story short, I came from a world where a…different take on World War III happened. It involved hijacked nukes, conventional/asymmetric warfare and anarchists.
I now live in its aftermath as a mercenary who takes contracts in here or, in this case, in other universes…

Yo buddies, still tropin’?
Err... Is it basically a Crapsack World outta there? Not like I couuld particularly complain about there, though.
Well…Not really.
But it’s recovering, with some things better post-war than pre-war…

] Like good night and stuff, Candy Pakupaku and I actually got a little wasted earlier since we walked so much today! I mean, it was a warm day so 6 hours of exercise wasn't a bad idea!
Of course not, we gotta take advantage of it now lol. The real type of winter weather will be on its way soon. Since we're up now, we're going to enjoy the dawn after Christmas!
ManmaruOyamaNiIrodoriWo has logged on.
...Mhm. So that's the "place" that Kasumi-chan is spending her time in... Ah! Well, they'll probably have already noticed I logged in, I forgot to turn off "join notifications"!
Hello, everyone! Always vibrant with shining colors, It's Aya Maruyama!*
So, why do I post here today? To be honest, it's going to be my birthday soon (on December 27th), so I wanted to get knowing with me first!
I'm the vocalist and leader of the idol band Pastel * Palettes!*
It started as a dream back then when I was little and I loved watching idol shows, and I got inspiration from an idol herself who I admire the most; Ayumi. I'm a college student at Yotsuba Women's University, and before that I previously enrolled in Hanasakigawa Girls' High school.
As a band, we make idol-styled songs, although we perform them like a typical pop band would do! I'm going to do my best, even if I have clumsy tendencies! I also like taking selfies and browsing at social media. Uh... That's all I want to immediately say about myself.
This message is brought to you by Aya Maruyama from Pastel * Palettes! I'll be watching on this chat occasionally!
ManmaruOyamaNiIrodoriWo has logged off. For now.
W-wah!? That's Aya-senpai! What is she's doing here? I'm going to meet up with her! Be right back!

A sentient pillow huh? That's not too out of the blue for us since some Tamagotchis in our world appear like them too.
If you don't have a heart then how can be alive? Even created forms of life has something built in them to stay active.

] Hmm, that almost sounds like someone I know in my life though a little less evil. What do you think Hellhound?
Hey, I might be a little loony but I don't kill for fun unless it's in a video game and I don't cheat when I'm playing Chess!
Lol we would know since we've played it in that seconds game thread. [2
] It's going good, how's your morning going?

Ah! Uh, I never knew about you two, but judging from your appearances, you're living objects!
Please don't give me that look. I'm actually curious about your existence. Uh, are the both of you not really from the same series?

Any reason why you might be so tired currently Roxy? Hope Christmas night wasn't rough on you.
We're pretty wide awake as you can tell though it was a pretty easy going night for us yesterday.

It's going good. I just drove Mina and Marnie to the movie theater so we could watch Migration.
I'm hoping it's a good experience. It looks pretty cool.
I just woke up and I'm still feeling kind of tired. Hopefully this movie is energizing.
I'm sorry to hear that. I also have trouble falling asleep due to some noises outside sometimes.

To be fair, I wasn't even that athletic, because I'm a freaking introvert. Not to be confused with a literal shut-in.
I actually do take athletic exercises, though. In the original "beta" setting I was depicted as running and jumping like a rabbit.
Well, one of my outside-of-band friends, Hagumi, really like sports and is quite athletic. And I also know that Kokoro can do some really unique stunts that would require being athletic. Coincidentally, both are just about energetic as Kasumi is, and they're both from the band Hello, Happy World!

I think I understand now what you felt. Actually, I have been woken up by loud noises more than just a few times. For example, while I was groggy and couldn't see it clearly at first, O-Tae-Chan hugged Arisa, the latter screaming with an angry tone and calling the former by her full name.OOC note

] Oof, that would be bad with all the possible Christmas partying going on amongst other things. I see that the stores in our area the stores are now playing regular music thankfully.
Yeah that does get just a little tiring after a whole month of it especially when it's the same few songs remade over and over. [2
] That does look like a potentially fun movie to see.
Even though I love most of those jolly songs, it would be nice if they played more obscure tunes but alas. I think it's funny how people calling Migration "Duck Hunt: The Movie"! aroo.

Wait, Migration is a new movie just coming out? Wait... it's also produced by Illumination Entertainment? The same film company that also produced Despicable Me 1 and The Super Mario Bros. Movie!? So now these references in the teaser makes sense...

You're very welcome mademoiselle Roxy! It's always nice when any form of good vibes becomes helpful to another who needs it.
Yep babe and I think almost anyone would agree that a lousy morning from a rough sleep isn't the best feeling to start the day with.

It's Aya-senpai's birthday! She barged in when there was no prior activity, like hours ago! Wait, did she just left the thread? Actually, I'd prefer you be in here than just coming to post one message and leave!
...
Please come back, Aya-senpai!! We've got to celebrate your birthday!
Huh? Oh right, it's going to be birthday, so... Happy birthday, Aya-senpai! ...Me and Mashiro-chan actually being tired right now. I'll be right back when we're feeling better.
Will do a part 2 of the script when I get up again later

I don’t know miss. Probably the fact that someone wanted a quick end to WW2, rather than another bloody stalemate.
Though it does make great background music for bombing an evildoer’s castle, like what I’m doing right now…
