This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Sorry, I didn't mean to cause any trouble. I was just trying to start a conversation. If I accidentally offended you, then I'm really sorry. By the way, I haven't heard of Dungeon of the Endless until now, but looking more at it, it seems to be interesting.
Right now we're studying and applying for more jobs. Movie theater was closed today so we're gonna watch The Nun II tomorrow instead. I'm still feeling kind of tired though from our morning exercise.
Who's birthday is it tomorrow? You've got me curious.

It's not that you offended me, it's just that that particular attempt at sparking a conversation didn't seem very effective.
Me neither. It's got elements of tower defense, dungeon crawling, and general RPG, and there's a new game from the same studio in Closed Beta rn called Endless Dungeon, which seems to have similar elements, and which looks very interesting.

] It's gonna be Lovelitchi's birthday tomorrow! We'll be having a lot of fun songs to play since she loves to sing!
We've been currently practicing some wonderfully interesting tunes to bring excitement to our lovely birthday girl!

Got it. I'm still apologizing though because it feels like the right thing to do. So I see that game seems to be a Genre-Busting one.
That's awesome! Happy upcoming birthday Lovelitchi!
Happy upcoming birthday Lovelitchi! Hope you guys have an awesome party tomorrow!

I don't think anything happened to it, probably was just a good suggestion since they don't last forever.
She loves a lot of exciting and uplifting pop or rock songs! It brings her a lot of inspiration! aroo.
She also enjoys instrumental music so she can think about what to sing over the melodies she hears!
What would she think about KiloWatts's Problem/Solving
album? I feel like it might be a bit esoteric, it's definitely not pop
[1]
Hehe, maybe it is? Could be some dangerous code ready to mess up everything... nah, nothing that exciting, it's just a fun pattern. As far as I'm aware, anyway...

] Those songs are very nice and would make nice additions to listen to for the party! aroo.
Yeah, they're pretty neat jams! Kinda reminds me of techno music that plays in video games.
I think she'll enjoy them since she doesn't mind opening up her horizons in music genres!

Hey, if you want some cool music, you should listen to my friend Fuiji! She sounds... something like this!

My favorite failed console tbh
Hmm, I wasn't expecting a tune like that. Not bad though 8 bit songs on stereo would be really loud through the neighborhood.
True sis, a composition with chiptunes of a Gameboy hits the ears directly due to it being compressed into one single speaker.
Ugh, not feeling well anymore. Recently I just remembered that some of my favorite musical artists have apparently retired or at least semi-retired from composing music. I miss their signature styles.
Thinking about that makes me sad too, considering the amount of artists I like that have stopped composing music for the foreseeable future. Anyone else feel that way when something you like gets discontinued for some reason?
"Great, now this gal named Dawn is stalking me and complaining about no Sinnoh Megas! It's getting on my nerves!" - Taunie![]()
That makes sense. Still I can't really listen to the new music coming out lately if the composers that retired are absent from that. It's just not the same.
Maybe we should at least try to find some new artists. It's no use moping around something that was inevitably gonna happen anyway. Who knows, maybe the retirement might be temporary, and the "retired" artists might come back after a while. By the way, Marnie and I are gonna have a dinner of nice spicy noodles now with steak and tofu.

I know it's kinda disappointing news but I don't think it's worth getting that upset about it.
Yeah just keep on jamming out to what they made throughout their music career!
Besides, their stuff will by around forever regardless of them going into retirement.

Yeah, that makes sense. At least there are some new musical artists trying to follow in their predecessor's footsteps in terms of inspiration and stuff.
On a more positive note, we're gonna watch Howard the Duck tonight to see how bad it really is. It should be quite ironically funny.

For me, I’ll take a good night’s sleep and get ready to fly out tomorrow, can’t wait to jump onto the new rides…
[1]
…Am I invited to this birthday party?
Speaking of sleep, we're gonna go to sleep now. Good night guys! Tomorrow Marnie and I will finally watch that new The Nun II movie.
Good night guys.
Hey guys, it's Mei Hatsume here. I'm one of Mina's friends from her school. Speaking of sleep, I'm gonna stay up a bit late to work on some machine-stuff before sleeping. So hello guys, and good night if you guys are sleeping as well.

Happy birthday Lovelitchi! Sorry it probably won't stir up much activity in this dreary place but us toons (and whoever pops up here today) will still do our best to make sure you'll be joyful!
Aww, thank you Melodytchi! This outfit is very lovely! Even if it remains quiet here, we'll surely get things exciting elsewhere! [1
] You're certainly welcome to come over if you want! Also, hi Mei!
