This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Well, at the moment there seems to be a lot of attention focused around this region called Kitakami
, which apparently has a lot of interesting biodiversity when it comes to Pokémon. There also seems to be ongoing research around this phenomenon called Terastallizing, which changes the type of the Pokémon.

Hmm, sounds very interesting! When you say change their types, does that mean like physically or ability wise?
The imagery that's been shown of the terastal phenomenon makes them look so very lovely from what I can see!

24 hours of nothing, damn... Well I'm sure no one minds us digging this dead thread from the grave before work since Chamametchi probably has something fun to share with everyone.
It's not that big of a deal but it's something I was pretty happy about, I managed to not only find Caramella Creeper cereal but also the Monster Mash mix which has them all in one box!
One whole month early and we're already ready for some Halloween breakfast meals! I know it's very quiet here but I still hope everyone's having a good day so far just like we are! aroo.
Oh, forgot something last time - for the curious, here's a link to Kent's paper about the DIMA process. It goes into much more detail than my explanation from two days ago, and it's also far more technical. Proceed at your own risk :P
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.

] Well I really don't mind taking that risk if it's something entertaining to see here. There otta be interesting ways to keep this current lifeless void moving forward even with stuff like that.
Oui, chérie. I can't help to wonder why it's been abandoned here? Knowing there's still lots of users on other threads too. [2
] Mmm, rice cakes are délicieuse! Good luck with your appointment!

The doctor's appointment went good. My doctor told me to wear a retainer more often so that could help with any jaw pain.
We're now back at Mina's house, resting for a bit until a dinner of steak and spicy ramen noodles. Tomorrow we're gonna watch that new The Nun II movie. Anyone else seeing that too?

Hmm, I wouldn't mind seeing it if we didn't have to be a little busy tomorrow with setting up someone's upcoming birthday though let us know if it's good and it's improvement from the original when you see it.

Don't worry, we'll let you guys know what we ultimately think of it. Though I do lament that horror movies seem to be getting less popular as of late, which is unfortunate.
Maybe some of the upcoming horror movies this fall might disprove that.

Seriously, horror films becoming less popular nowadays? What's the deal with that if you don't mind me asking?
It's not like they are being made constantly throughout the year either (sorry superhero movie fans).
Hope your right about that Marnie especially since a good horror film would be perfect to see around my birthday.

I think that after a lot of box office hits in the late 2010s, I noticed via box office numbers that interest in horror movies seemed to be dying down (except for some movies like Scream 5 and Scream 6) in favor of superhero movies. Maybe I could be wrong though, since my memory might not be perfect.
Yeah, Marvel blockbusters kind of dominate the competition nowadays.

] I just thought about how somewhat hilariously ironic it was for Buttercup specifically to say that line though she definitely right.
I kind of preferred when those types of movies took their time on how many of them being made. [2
] Nice to here that piece of good news.
Not really noteworthy, maybe that's why barely anyone bothers to answer that question? I'm not trying to be rude, but... yeah.
Out of curiosity, has anyone here played Dungeon of the Endless? I learned about it recently from a Wanderbots video.

It was pretty hot earlier, I was sweating when I woke up but now it's starting to cool down. How was your sleep Mina and did you have anything good for breakfast? We had sweet pancakes!
