This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

FYI, spoilered text is OOC. There's no actual way for your character to see that text
[2]
Could block their connection entirely. Though right about now we can tell their current universe within less than 1.1 seconds, so maybe we might be able to do away with them permanently.

If we're being cruel already, then I could also have Telly abducted and vivisected. The thought is off-putting, but it would be more informative than directly nuking them.
[4]
That would make Morgan a person with a healthy conscience, moron worm.

Sorry for taking so long. Considering the thread's current state, should we take this to a private channel?
[6]
...Welcome to chaos. I was really hoping this thread wouldn't reach this state again.
Should we open a secondary thread/communication channel?

If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.
"Abducted" "vivisected", that's rather curious. I don't think someone like me who can stop time, materialize armies, or teleport anywhere can be put down like that. Let's not suggest violence and chaos, I was just doing my job in my part and hoping for some good time here. Look like even the tiniest things can make people go donut :)
Since my presence is a threat-magnet, I should retire for the time. Not like i'm not busy anyway, there's my contestants waiting for me, like a friend waiting for another friend.

FI'm not sure if purely visual media can have advantages over interactive media, to be honest. I suppose one aspect that you can try to take advantage of is the fact that in a visual medium, the action is detached from the observer, but beyond that... quality does not follow from quantity, that much I know.

Only because of that one evil: The Fell Dragon, calling us humans "worms". Oh, by the way, I'm the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, Hu Tao.
Nabu demands that order be restored to this thread...immediately.
Besides, we've seen enough chaos here.

] Geez, try to fit that on a business card bub.
Is it actually necessary to bring up all those titles together?

When Dracula's Curse is manageable through grand melodies.
