This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Really? We're familiar with time travelling too though it was originally by accident.
Transporting through different realities though would probably be a risky move to make considering what other realms hold.
turntechGodhead [TG] responded to memo.
TG: sup
TG: yo davesprite tell them how you became yourself
TG: whatever
TG: so im from an alternate timeline where i prototyped my birdsprite with lil cal

Not even stars last forever. I haven't been in this thread for a while, so I must ask:
What the hell is that thing?
No, seriously. What is that thing?
Sounds interesting. Will look into it.

] That second guy looks frickin sick with the wings and flaming orange color scheme!
Based on a prototype, hmm. If he looks so beasty now, I wonder what the "finished" version would be like?
Hope he's able to help that person named Rose, somehow I feel that place he's in is treacherous.
TG: thanks my wings do look sick as fuck
TG: but unfortunately i am the finished dave
TG: to prototype means to like put something in a sprite so it alives itself to be your guide
TG: you can only prototype it twice
TG: i cant go back to rose because time travel sucks ass but shes all on her lonesome
TG: best she could do is update her gamefaqs page over time
TG: at least you still have one
TG: yep

Not even stars last forever.
Okay I get. Thanks for letting us know, I kinda misunderstood earlier.
Rose is stuck in a different time period? Dang, that's a bust.
Time traveling can be such a double edged sword on how it works.

When Dracula's Curse is manageable through grand melodies.
Man, this game has been very fun, but I think I've been spending too much time on it. At least I've been working to get every armor set and upgrade every single one of them to the max level. Unfortunately those upgrades require a lot of resources which are difficult to obtain in the game. Anyway, good night guys. Sweet dreams.
"This girl named Dawn is endlessly complaining about what she calls 'Mega Evolution Absentia'. She's crazy!" - Dawn
Good night to you too, hopefully those resources come to you eventually. [1
] Good thing my sis and I got a way of understanding how we can go back and forth from our time period to yours.
Yeah, keeping up with friends from different time periods probably sounds tricky in reality but we can manage it (probably in the aspect of toon logic in helping us with that as well).

When Dracula's Curse is manageable through grand melodies.Weekly report on the bacteria!
mvbio_lowering_repo-26050001.zip
A few cultures have started to hit their limits. We're struggling with the Tevyat ones because we want to find some kind of ley line substitute in lower-degree universes, which takes quite a lot of analysis, and hydro energy decays very quickly below 6.2 O. From what I've heard, the bio team is trying to gradually thin out the hydro content of the broth before they start working on that species, hopefully it should evolve.
There are some similar problems with other cultures and their broth not having the right composition, and for those we still don't have a recipe - they're marked in the spreadsheet along with some ideas.
[1]
No clue. If hydro is too crucial for the bacterium's metabolism, it might not work at all.

Interesting work.
Also, by "hydro," do you mean hydrogen, or H20, or the elemental "Hydro" of Teyvat's seven-element classification system?

She seems to be a genocidal and more annoying version of you…
Tsk. I do not appreciate people challenging my status as the most annoying thing here (hence why I intend to dispose of Tryggvassen when the day comes). If the Mongfishes were nearly as smart as the Heterodynes, I'd expect their talking castle to act like Miss Grima here.
Either way, looking up the name "Grima" seems to redirect me to two characters: one from Archanea,
and another from Middle Earth.
Both appear to be male, so I'm not sure if either are this Grima.
Oh, I'm referring to Tevyat's "Hydro" element. It's what most of the researchers are interested in, due to its novelty and the difficulty in handling it.
Distilled water already forms a large percentage of the nutrient broth that the team is using

If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.
(x1)
I figured, though I wanted to double-check I wasn't reading the whole report wrong the entire time.
Also, since I haven't been keeping up with this project till now: what other cultures are you testing out? You mentioned "the Teyvat ones," so are there other ones not from Teyvat that you're testing?

Not Tropeworthy: Evil RedheadAbout twelve from Dave's homeworld, plenty of which are already at their limits; we've collected most of our 151 samples from universes that... I believe don't have anyone from them connected to this thread.

Damn, they're bringing the heavy artillery huh?
Oh dear, that's sounds worrisome. Hope you have a way to retaliate them Dave.
