This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

I only joined here last Septemper, so I don't know what happened on the 6th of August.
Care to explain?
I don't recall the exact date, but I do remember a period where having coherent discussion was very difficult, to say the least, because half of the thread's participants were behaving like very inexperienced roleplayers. At that point, even Flandre Scarlet, who's otherwise an agent of destruction, got put off.
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.
I can provide a link to that time if you like. [1
] Everytime we posted during that craziness, another page went by.
I do recall another moment when it went that fast beforehand though we didn't get caught in the crossfire of it at that time.

When Dracula's Curse is manageable through grand melodies.
Just got back from watching movie with all my friends. Later I'm gonna be exercising at the gym to relax, maybe go for a swim as well. How's everyone's day so far?

Wow, Dave is right, "warzone" really is the best descriptor.
It makes me wonder if the presence of people like Uirst and Icarus here is some kind of way to prevent that from happening again. You'd need people operating on a multiversal scale to stop people from outright threatening each other in the thread, huh?

] A-freaking-greed, glad I wasn't around to witness that bull$#!+. Like a bunch of mindless rampage when on.
Yeah, I don't think I would have been happy with it being that lunacy considering how hard it'd be to keep up with conversations with that amount of speed. aroo.

] Our day has been pretty decent even if it's very rainy lately, at least it's a tad warm. How was the movie?

dope how was it
TG: my days been alright
TG: uneventful per usual
Not even stars last forever.
(x7) My day's fine, mostly. About 75% through re-compiling my nation's records. It's tedious, but important. As a whole though, the kingdoms're navigating through a new conspiracy - The bugs got swindled but so did we. Long story. Not gonna let those slack-jawed tanukis ruin my mood.

] Now you can see why I was so frustrated with it that day Momotchi. On the plus side of things, the weather is getting a little better Chamametchi.
Dats good but I fink umbwewwa is still good to bwing duwing walk. Maybe we might not needing to wowwy bout the thwead going dat fast again.
As for my day: slightly busy, I will admit. We're getting shipment from Sidon that'll dock in Genoa, and I have to make sure it's not intercepted by pirates or by the Other's agents. So that's been keeping me occupied.
(x4)
I believe you're Yamna Gast, yes?
I'm curious: what kind of national records are you "re-compiling" today? Do you mean you're sorting through state documents, or are you putting together a history?

] The plant life in your area must be begging for some rain if that's the case. [2
] I sincerely hope you're right Milktchi.
Agreed and I hope the plants in Dave's area don't need too much water. I found a little trippy remix of one of our songs [3
]
TG: haha they dont because we dont have plants here in my building
TG: or anywhere near it actually
TG: always been just a bunch of tall ass buildings like a metropolis or something
TG: also that song is pretty sick

Not even stars last forever.
I just got the cultures ready, and the formulas for the nutrient broth copied. I got 5 species that in my professional but not absolute opinion represent the ecosystems of Teyvat, 2 of which are greatly affected by the Ley Line, 1 of which uses Hydro, and the last two are pretty much non-magical. All 5 are relatively common species that are found all over the continent (except Snezhnaya, but only extremophile species survive there).
Just a wanderer.
Hey it's me again! I know you missed me, I know. I attacked people by surprise as I said, and I had a lotta fun at first! But Arle easily kicked my butt when I attacked her... (How I hate this girl sometimes... How can she be so good at puyo battles?)
Anyway, do anybody here know how to easily get a dragon's tail? I need one for my new potion. I mean, I have a kind of friend (Draco Centauros) Who's a dragon girl, but I don't think she would agree to lose her tail. I could rip it off her but that would be mean, even for me! Maybe I could trick her into giving it to me, or promising her a reward if she give it to me, or...

x3 Ah, perfect! How much mora will that be?
Icarus would want to pay off Sucrose in some form for her work
x2 By the way, the colonies have started growing. We've separated out a whole bunch of species already, not all of them survived in EV brand broth, but here are the results:
mvbio_lowering_repo-20050001.zip
The zip folder contains png images and data sheets in plain text format, for lack of inter-universal standards. The images show a wide variety of Petri dishes, all showing bacterial cultures in various stages of growth. Some are annotated with "dead" or a reference to a specific mixture of nutrient broth. The data sheets have records on various species labeled with numbers only, along with their compatibility degrees and various other data points.
Don't ask me what most of the parameters mean, the only parts I really understand are "compatibility degree", "growth rate" and some of the metabolism annotations.

rest assured, you are not the only one doing stuff involving history, I have had to waste time un rewriting history.
