Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

In my defense, I was driven by my moral compass. If my mother mistreated her children like other gods did with their kids, I wouldn't fight for her. I joined the Titan Army because me and my siblings were cast aside by the gods, and the Titans offered them what they should have already had.
(OOC: I'm starting to see why it's hard to write Anti-Hero and Anti-Villain characters. Playing Alabaster here amounts to painting his goals as good while also painting him winning as bad, which is a tough balancing act to pull off.
It's a good challenge for my wiriting skills, which is why I'll keep going at it.)
While I see where you're coming from, Alabaster, I feel like you shouldn't be surprised that Camp Half-Blood exiled you. Saying "I was your archenemy years ago and I don't regret it at all" doesn't exactly help people trust you.
You have a point, Tarvek. But given your own shady past (as explained in our PMs), are you really in the position to lecture me about trust-building?

Still, I can't help but wonder if that goal would've been achievable without Olympus having to be put under siege, and if so, how much time it would've taken.
On a more lighthearted note, we started loading testing dummies onto the transit ships this night. And as it turns out, even though we've taken care to always accelerate in the direction that the seats are facing, the turnaround maneuvers still create lateral G-forces strong enough to cause passengers to pass out, especially in the back of the ship... oops.

[1] It's progress alright. We've managed to resolve that issue - this saturday, I'll probably be transporting you to the museum with one of the new shuttles, so you can look forward to that! Besides that, the hardware should be safe enough for cataphracts, so I can already roll out a fleet of access ships out to Uirst to play around with.
Uirst can modify the ships however she likes, but Icarus would ask her to document her modifications and inform him on them

Well one of the first modifications would be outpost compatible airlocks and keys and Cataphract support networks. Though they'll likely be regulated to civilian use seeing as I already have much faster and discreet method of insertion and extraction for cataphracts operating interuniversally.

I believe we have airlocks integrated already, in case- actually, since almost all stations are placed on planets with breathable atmospheres, they generally don't need airlocks! The few that are in space do have airlocks integrated already, in case the portals malfunction and we need to evacuate the station with a special ship.
The vessels that I'll give you are essentially mobile airlocks designed to dock with the shuttles, in case you need access to those - the shuttles may be a little too tight for direct matter injection.
As for perms, I'll have to talk to 0x.

Ah right I should clarify military installations use their own airlock design to prevent docking by civilian and unauthorized vessels unless they've received the modification package to be able to dock with such locations.

Man, those airlocks make me think about the Thrown Out the Airlock trope. Has that ever happened with those specific airlocks before? Sometimes I have nightmares about dying this way.
