Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
I'd offer the construction of such a system myself on the condition That my children would not be obstructed while hunting sparks that seek to cause wide spread chaos outside of your reality.
I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interestingThe idea of a public multiversal transportation system is dangerous and will ultimately lead to someone hijacking it to destroy or imperalize other universes. It must be de-centralized, compensatory and scrutinized by authorized individuals.
Obscure Reference: "It can sometimes knock out opponents with the shock created by breaching and crashing its big body onto the water.(x2)
I understand your concern, Uirst, but if my father's past work in studying the Spark is anything to go by, we might be able to set up a system where future generations of our kind won't cause widespread trouble for you.
... Well, we might be able to if we accomplish a renovatio imperii in our lifetimes.
... And if the empire lasts for at least close to a century, ideally longer.
... Which, in turn, we could only do if we finally defeat the "Other" and her forces for good.
... And also if Martellus, the Polar Lords, etc. aren't big problems in the future.
...
That's not too many "ifs," is it?
I would like to remind you that my solution is easier.
No it is not.
Please visit the "AITA" forum gameActually I do hope they cause trouble though certainly not too much... A metaphor you may understand is imagine running out of lands to reward to knights. I am in a similar position of running out of duties for new children rouge sparks about would certainly give them something to do.
I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interesting[1] aw shame. what's a lyre sound like then?

If it's the novelty of travelling between universes, that might get boring in due time. I was thinking if commuting between universes was possible - as of now, with one docking protocol out of 417 leading to a potentially life-threatening malfunction, our systems aren't nearly robust enough for that yet, and it might take over a year before we have safe designs.
Me and the team are fully aware of such issues. Don't worry, we have a lot of experienced sysadmins who don't have any selfish interests, but thanks for highlighting this point. Honestly, security will definitely be a bigger problem than throughput and speed, considering most of the network's parts will be in deep space relative to one universe or another. There'll be a fine line to walk between airport levels of security and ground-based rail network levels of accessibility, hopefully we can manage to make a usable result.
I can totally support that aim myself, and that ties in to the security point I mentioned. Considering that commuteers will have a wide variety of compatibility degrees, we'll probably have them carry chip cards that prevent them from accessing lower degrees than their homeworld (or the matter that they're made of, if they provide a sample of their tissue) - this system could easily be modified to prevent a given user from travelling entirely, if we find out that they're malicious.
Though we also don't want the commuteers to feel unsafe while travelling - the shuttles and space stations by themselves already feel decently claustrophobic, and our designers are hard at work making designs that feel open and natural. Installing any kind of weapon system in stations or shuttles will be difficult, because the commuteers shouldn't even be aware of it.
I can offer you and your children access to the maintenance network instead, and give you docking shuttles to connect to the main network with. Would that work?
With all that said, I think it's safe to say this will be a massive undertaking. And I honestly believe that if we can manage to pull it off, it will be a way more significant hallmark of my kind's technological development than any Dyson sphere.
[8] [9] Alternatively, since this seems to be an issue on the scale of generations, we could also postpone hooking up the Sparks to the network until the time comes. My lifespan would probably last that long
what
honestly that's the kind of post that i expected to see when i joined the infrastructure forum. except not with all the multiverse stuff
can you hook up my homeworld?
Sure can. It's still gonna take a while until the system is stable though
actually please don't, we have more than enough problems here already

That's actually a huge relief for me. Not only will we not need a continent-wide childcare reform (Spüdna may be disappointed; yet another plus), but we'll also have a perfectly good place to throw our worst criminals (since we can't use Castle Heterodyne anymore).
Also, out of curiosity, who are these "children" of yours?

CAC: Well, that's the problem. Sometimes I wonder if those "allies" are not unlike farmers who fatten up the turkey before Thanksgiving. I know not all cishets are bad, but...
I'm neutral about the meme, but she was beautiful.my children.
I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interesting(x1)
Well, yes. It's just... You're an artificial intelligence, right? So would your children be other artificial intelligences?
(x2)
I see, but I still don't get that mindset. Did something happen to make you lose trust in "cishets" as a group? I mean, I naturally mistrust my cousins, but that's because they're organized and tend to work against me. They typically have certain agendas.
But some kind of broad out-group? People like, in my particular case, commoners or non-Sparks? People who aren't organized and don't have a unified agenda? I'm sorry, I just don't see why you'd be paranoid about them. I don't have reason to believe that any "outsider" I meet has a reason to hate me.
Of course, maybe you have a different experience, which is why I'm asking.

A link to a video of Venti playing the lyre while sitting in the hands of a statue that looks suspiciously like himself. He sings while playing. The lyrics are about the heir to a kingdom, tasked with searching for a treasure in “The Kingdom of Darkness”. But she is deceived, and now believes that she’s the queen of that kingdom of darkness. The song ends on a hopeful note, with a new heir taking up the crown and the quest.

Edit: what file type does music use in your homeworld?
dunno what you're talking about. i use cassettes

"Please do not reproduce this textbook." - S. Banach & A. TarskiCassettes? Wow, it's been like decades since I've used or even seen one of those. Even CD's are becoming less relevant these days.
I still have a good amount of VHS tapes but I haven't played them in a long time. Hope everyone's enjoying the lovely evening!

Today was okay. Work on the new assignment was very difficult for me, but this homework is actually easier than the one before. I'm already 50% done with it.
What homework are you doing?
The one with the language model in our natural language processing class. It's pretty difficult, but surprisingly, I'm managing decently.
See, Mina? It takes some practice, but it's not so difficult after you get used to it.

"Paldea has a lot of different Pokemon from those in Kitakami." - Carmine Chatted with a designer just now, we're thinking about adding some greenery to the transit system, specifically the individual stations, and we found this in the archives. Interesting stuff!
My ideas would be: algae tanks (because algae are awesome!), placing plants into centrifugal rings to simulate microgravity, moss, or vines that you could maybe even use to move around. I'll send some concept art soon!
What about the revised multiverse model? That's kinda overdue
Dang, it is.
"Please do not reproduce this textbook." - S. Banach & A. TarskiGood morning! It's so beautiful today with the skies clear and the sun out! I feel so energized!
Like I'm still thinking about yesterday, how did time fly so fast at work? I didn't think I was enjoying it that much but I guess I should be grateful since it's no fun for it to go slow and boring.

My morning was okay. Just finished my morning exercise. Now I have to get back to homework. It's so exhausting.
Your school seems to have very difficult homework assignments.
I can relate. A lot of my homework has tended to be difficult in recent months. By the way, still no sign of a new sound-design trailer music album as of this week. I've just been listening to Celldweller songs to compensate.

Just saw the trailer for that. It looks interesting. Hopefully the game has enough new features and stuff to make it different from Breath of the Wild in a good way.
I would like to see underwater exploration in that new game. From what I've experienced playing Breath of the Wild, Link could not dive underwater in that game, for some reason.
Maybe they didn't want to focus on underwater exploration for the first one due to budget constraints.

Tears of the Kingdom is looking pretty great so far!
I think that this game has the best character design for Link. His long hair, it's so beautiful.
WHOA! PINGU-SAN! What happened to your color palette?
This is a new Sensei Form of mine. I started to become the student of Link, on top of being the student of Dedede.
Let us not forget about the new Neptunia game!
Holy pepperoni! Oggy, do you have the ability to transform into an anime girl?!
Absolutely!
Anyways, the new Neptunia game is looking to be awesome!

That doesn't seem like a very healthy mindset. It sounds like a very extreme and crippling form of paranoia. No offense, but what's your mental health like?

Note taken.
If we had the time, I suppose we'd use such a system. Mostly because the idea of frequent travel between universes is such an inherently interesting concept.
