Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
Anyway, I’m Phosphophyllite, or Phos for short. May I ask what are you?
Well, I am a Nikke, designed to protect humanity from dangerous Raptures.
I’m part of a team called Absolute, the aces of the Ark. That said, considering who my teammates are, chatting here is a nice change of pace compared to the Blabla chat system we have…
Yo buddies, still tropin’?[1] Noted. For anyone interested in the party, tell me once you're available and I'll come over to collect a sample - shouldn't be anything to be afraid of, organics often have some cells in their saliva.
Also, can I ask Sucrose to conduct the tests in the universe where we'll have the party?
Won't be able to interact much cause it's 2AM for me, so just pretend the interaction happened
Also, an interesting edge case to think about: Stefan's food will be tested with a method that's (probably) incompatible with Gil and Tarvek's homeworld, within a universe of a degree higher than Tevyat. If the test confirms the safety of the food, does this result also apply in the universe of Girl Genius?

Sucrose probably wouldn’t be super comfortable with travelling universes (considering that I don’t think she’s ever left Mondstadt), but there’s nothing stopping you from taking the modified flowers to the universe the party will be hosted in and doing the test yourself.

Hmm, what's this "Blabla chat system" you mentioned? And what's the Ark? It is an airship? Spacecraft? Normal sea vessel? Something else I'm entirely missing?
(x2)
Given that the comic has a page◊ where there's a giant vat of bubbling green liquid labeled "DO NOT DRINK," and a character drinks a glass of said liquid only to survive the next 12 volumes unharmed, I'm sure it's fine.
In seriousness: I think the results would probably also apply. However, I still think it'd be neat to have the safety tests on Gil & Tarvek be either RPed or implied, if only for the sake of roleplaying purposes.
Please visit the "AITA" forum game[1] CenterBrain, how did I miss that message yesterday? My name's Icarus, and the organization I work in - Exotic Ventures - does almost anything lighter than five solar masses! Sometimes even for free. If you need something done, ask me, and we'll talk out the details.
Hi, new user. I'm Stefan, and I'm pretty much a normal human. College student, first math semester.
Unrelated, but before I go off to Tevyat, I wanted to share a banger. Enjoy
Maybe it's a military organization?

Hello, mortals! It is me, Mega Monkey!
Does anyone here have any information on the whereabouts of She Zow?
(20M) Time to get zowy with it and gotta go fast! https://shiverthermal.carrd.co/Heh, no clue bub.
Sorry, we haven't seen them around these parts.
Meet the Tamas!◊ This is where it will end, by my hand.
We meet again, Mega Monkey!
(20M) Time to get zowy with it and gotta go fast! https://shiverthermal.carrd.co/Looks like she decided to show up to show that monkey what's for!
An epic showdown commencing? This should be exciting!
Meet the Tamas!◊ This is where it will end, by my hand.
The Ark is more or less an underground city, where all of humanity lives and hides from the Raptures, while Blabla is like this forum, where we chat between squad mates.
OOC: If wondering about Emma’s world look here or this wiki, though the latter is not as extensive and I am not as experienced in Nikke than with Houseki no Kuni…

Just finished solving a case, and I am realizing now that I have not slept in the past 48 hours and all I have had to eat is a single slice of plain toast.

Phew, that was intense! Hey Maz, wanna go to Cul-De-Sac to try some of their famous jawbreakers?
You bet I do!

Hm, not what I expected. What are these "Raptures," then?
(OOC: Thanks for the wiki sources, that's awfully helpful of you!)
As for what's up on my side of things? This morning, my physician gave me a sleep schedule to follow. I've had sleep problems lately and he thinks sticking to a schedule is what I need.
[1] Mmm, jawbreakers are so good! One of the best candy's ever!
I think those Ed boys would love to hang with you Candy Pakupaku since you're always stacked with candy.
Meet the Tamas!◊ This is where it will end, by my hand.(Out of character for this message) And fun fact! Guy / She Zow and Maz are voiced by the same guys who voiced Double D and Ed!

Hey guys, sorry for being late today. Mina Ashido and I are at a painting activity. We're painting some birds on trees. By the way, one of the trailer music record labels I was following just made several of their albums from late 2018 to early 2019 public, including that "Incubator" sci-fi thriller album I mentioned a few days ago. My favorite track from that album is the first one listed there, "Ghost Particle", as I like the relentless sci-fi synths featured in that track.
I took a listen to that track as well, it sounds really neat. Sounds like something that would play in the trailer for an action-packed video game or a trailer for a Transformers movie.
Kind of also takes some inspiration from DOOM, I think.
Interesting. The composition of that track kind of sounds massive.
"Paldea has a lot of different Pokemon from those in Kitakami." - CarmineNo need to apologize on being "late" as it's always good to see you stop by.
Any inspiration from DOOM is a good one!!
That song sounds pretty neat!

(20M) Time to get zowy with it and gotta go fast! https://shiverthermal.carrd.co/Yeah, she's our guest star that often hangs with us on here! Back in June of last year, she popped up since "green text" was still up for grabs.
Ever since we split up into multiple groups on avatar threads, she usually hangs with Yumemitchi and Kiraritchi due to the visual similarities from her sisters. Here's a picture of shows us all that participate here. [1◊]

Meet the Tamas!◊ This is where it will end, by my hand.[1] tested icarus' exo today and damn. thing can launch you far, bet you could run around a planet with it alone if you have the stamina
comes with the drawback of being exhausting to use if you're not prepared. but it still worked perfectly after i was done! 10/10 would use again.
though i'm still sticking with my current exo just cause i'm used to it, no offence
[2] i'll 1up ya. one full day of beating up genetically engineered alien combat androids, followed by a half-day goose chase through assorted asteroid belts
I think he was just responding to my question about what's up, not showing off how much he exerts himself.
oh. still I'm proud of that day
[3] FYI, we generally use spoiler text to write OOC messages
[4] Nikke, like the ancient Greek goddess of victory? You guys have an awful lot of confidence if that's what you call yourselves.
Also, Albedo, I might not be at the lab tomorrow because I'm still sick. You can manage things on your own, right?

Just got back from the painting activity. It was fun, and the birds I painted looked very nice. By the way, the same trailer record label I was talking about also released a 2019 industrial rock trailer music album, "Bullets + Rhymes", to the public. The first track on that album, "Supercrusher", sounds really massive and awesome.
Ooh, I just listened to it just now. It sounds amazing! Something I would see definitely being used for a video game or movie trailer. That has an intense, gargantuan atmosphere to it.
They also released their late-2018 horror album, "Grinders", to the public as well. My two favorite tracks from that album are "Skinwalkers" and "Revivification". They really sound massive and intense at the same time, and do have those industrial, Silent Hill influences.
Those tracks sound really dark, brutal, and gritty. I like them! You have really great tastes in music, Marnie!
Thanks for introducing us to these tracks, they sound amazing!
No problem. Those albums are from 2018-2019, back when sound-design albums were more common, and they still had between a whopping 30-50 tracks each. I miss those days. Nowadays the few sound-design albums that do still get produced usually have 20 tracks or less, averaging around 17-19, in constrast to the now more commonplace orchestral albums with 20-30 tracks each.

I’d like to make an announcement.
I just got engaged to Mojo Jojo!
(20M) Time to get zowy with it and gotta go fast! https://shiverthermal.carrd.co/Mojo Jojo? That's definitely a no-no.
Looks like it's double monkey trouble! aroo.
That's fine since the potential of a quad squad team up with PPG and SheZow can give those simians a good whooping (yeah I caught myself before I said another word).
