Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
Ah, I see. I also have trouble with names. But if it helps, know that my father and the Baron are the same person. Also, Lehmann — the guy who wrote the book I'm reading — takes orders from the Baron.
The TLDR version of my earlier post is: 1) the Baron thinks Agatha is Lucrezia in disguise, and 2) Lucrezia is trying to mind-control him.
Or to oversimplify things: the good guys are fighting each other because the bad guys tricked them to do so.
Make sense?
While I'm at it, I'm pretty much done the 4th chapter ("Without A Baron") right now, and before I put down the book for a while, I want to share this little bit.
Context: They got news that the hospital where the Baron was staying in was hit by artillery. Though they never found the body, he was presumed dead. I was his second-in-command, but I was away at the time.
So without a Baron (Title Drop!) to lead the army, the whole high command was in chaos. Until . . .
Yep, that "young Prince Sturmvoraus" is me! Now you know why I'm Wulfenbach's top advisor!
To oversimplify again: I was trying to get the good guys to stop fighting each other, and start fighting the bad guys instead. I did a pretty good job, too!
Yeah, yeah, Your Ever-Humble Highness, you saved the day.

Look on the bright side Moriritchi, it's still sunny out and no snow in sight yet!

Yeah, the weather is pretty weird here, too. There's more snow outside my window today than their was back in December.

The weather here in Galar for the most part this week has been a bit rainy. Freezing rain, to be exact. Though it wasn't snowing, but snow might have been preferable given that the roads are now very slippery. By the way, I was able to produce a proof-of-concept cover◊ for a tribal-themed horror sound-design trailer music album. It would have organic tribal percussion, ominous jungle chants and flutes, sinister organic signature sounds and textures, and distorted glitches, downer and riser sounds.
Here in Japan it's quite sunny, but there has been a bit of snowfall in the past month or so. My family always wants me to go skiing with them despite the fact I usually like vacationing to tropical places (for a greater wildlife diversity) more than to ski resorts. By the way, nice work on that album cover! Perhaps the album could actually become a thing!
Paldea usually has sunny weather, but here in the rainforest it rains a lot in contrast to that. The downside to living in the rainforest is that it gets very humid and you have to find shelter away from the rain. At least it's cooler and less humid during the nights. Also, a horror sound-design album mixed in with tribal elements doesn't seem bad of an idea. How many horror films already take place in the wilderness? (I'm betting countless.) The cover that you designed for such an album kind of gives off Green Inferno vibes. Fortunately here for me, the jungle hasn't really been terrifying at all, which is good because it could have been a lot worse.

As long as it keeps me warm, I'm cool with it (I'm a little shaky from the coldness).

Tomorrow morning, I'm probably gonna find some Kelpsy berries and make a sandwich from them like at home. Maybe I'll find a whole lot of other fruits as well, for a bonus.
Might have some chocolate for breakfast. I've had cravings for chocolate recently, perhaps because this time of year I tend to be more in the mood for sweets.
I can relate too. When things are stressful for me I tend to eat chocolate as well. Tomorrow for breakfast though I'm probably gonna have some coffee-flavored ice cream.

We just ate sis, here's some water to ease your tummy for the moment. I wonder if Kelpsy Berry can be made into bluish jam. [1] What kinda of sandwich you plan on having?
Meet the Tamas!◊ This is where it will end, by my hand.
Probably a fruit-mix sandwich with leaves added for extra crunchiness. I've always liked fruits and other sweet foods for some reason. They just taste that good.
More of a fan of the sweet-sour berry curry that's popular in Galar, though I do like any flavor, and I do like sandwiches on occasion.
"Paldea has a lot of different Pokemon from those in Kitakami." - CarmineWhen it comes to nosh, nothing beats a scrummy bag of fish and chips! An ol' detective mate of mine eats that on the daily! The wicked taste is blinding compared to anything you blokes have! That rubbish all you blokes call "food" is absolutely minging!

Nacho chips soooo are good with some hot spicy salsa! *licks lips*
I can't remember the last time I had chips, I used to love Doritos back in the day.

As a detective, I agree. Especially if the fish happens to be made by the best boyfriend/ex-fugitive/wandering samurai ever to exist.

Gah, this homework has become very difficult. It's natural language processing, which I thought would be an interesting course, but it involves a lot of complicated math...
Oof, I can relate. These kind of courses are very advanced.
"Paldea has a lot of different Pokemon from those in Kitakami." - CarmineYeah leave it to math to be involved with other educational stuff.
If it's complicated like she said, I suppose algebra and calculus (or something similar) is involved. Definitely not fun to do those at home.

Sure, Stefan!
Yo buddies, still tropin’?
What is that anatomy book about? In biology class we often looked at the inner anatomy of various Pokemon, and some Steel-type Pokemon such as Magnezone, Klinklang, Metagross and Revavroom had pretty weird insides from the diagrams inside of those textbooks. Sometimes biology got really gross with all of the dissections and stuff.
Ugh, I can relate. We had to do the same thing with dissecting dead animals, and I fainted more than once during that semester.
Yeah, I had a nightmare of being dissected alive once. When I have dreams, I can feel pain for some reason. It's so scary, and the experience was horrific for me. I try to forget about it, but I can't get it out of my head.
"Paldea has a lot of different Pokemon from those in Kitakami." - Carmine
Well, if dissecting things grosses you out, I suppose you wouldn't be a huge fan of the biology classes I had to take in university. There was a lot of work involving organs and brains and all that. Pretty gross stuff if you ask me. I guess that's why I mostly stick to mechanical engineering and medicine these days instead of biology.
On the plus side, the university's Code of Ethics made sure every human on the table was a very, very bad person. Us students were usually less discouraged once we'd heard what they'd been found guilty of.

Gold showed me how to dissect certain animals when I was a mere child. I believe the first was at 8. That was almost 450 years ago, and yet I remember it clear as day. You have to know anatomy at some point to create functional life, but that young still seems a bit odd to me.

I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interesting
Dissecting humans?! (*Faints*)
I think you scared Marnie too much. I think she will be fine, though. I think though even if the person was really bad, I would still feel uncomfortable dissecting their dead body.
Couldn't MRI scans or something similar be used instead of dissecting directly? The scans from what I'm aware of, aren't destructive, and the creature doesn't have to be dead for the scan to work.
