This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Was gone for a whole day, wow, I missed a lot...

I mean, this thread has the potential for... pretty much any entity that's imaginable by a human mind to join, so I wouldn't be surprised by spies.
[2]
Wow, that's a really insightful argument. Thanks!

Welcome to the thread, Qiqi - as Tarvek pointed out, you look really alive for an undead... When I think of "zombie", I think of "virus decomposing your body to a point where it's still barely usable and mind-controlling you". What's a jiangshi?
Also, what does the ofuda on your forehead do?
[4]
Hi Flan! You're not here often anymore, are you busy IRL?
...Wait. Don't tell me you're pulling through with your new year's resolution of causing an incident.
Seems like my remark about 2020 making us it's b!+ch [1
] really went places.
Then someone brought up the subject of beliefs, I'm surprised they didn't get in trouble for that one since it's kinda dangerous to make that statement in some areas.
At least there's wasn't any major arguments and things stayed well with ease. aroo.
I always thought that if I somehow became a zombie, I would be a Revenant Zombie. I would probably be freaking out though, because I would still be rotting a bit. But I would probably end up getting used to it. Anyway, sleep was okay, I'm still a little ill, but I've been recovering a lot. I feel much better than I did when I first caught that cold this weekend.

That's good to hear! With continuous progress, I'm sure you'll feel complete soon!
Revenant zombies are an interesting type of undead creatures, still keeping their minds in check!

Yes. The girls I forgot the names of are correct. But unlike most zombies like me, I was revived by being given adeptus energy, which means that it was on my own power, which means that I can give my own orders. Sometimes I give myself orders I can’t do. When that happens, Dr. Baizhu has to hug me and say he loves me. It doesn’t work very well, because I know he doesn’t mean it.
[1]
A sealing spell? Would it seal the soul into the body or something?
[2]
Glad to hear! I've been recovering, too, and I think I should be healthy again by tomorrow.

Your description of yourself is a very interesting view on sentience and decision-making, I bet it would make for a good thought experiment... Sucks that you can softlock yourself, though.
Valentine's day is almost here and I got all the candy to share!
Like of course you do Candy Pakupaku, it'll be just like an ordinary day for the most part (though I bet our Tama friends are planning a party like last year lol).
Wow, seems like a lot happened since I left last night. A lot of interesting talk about life, death, zombies, etc. that I'd like to chime in on.
(x6)
So, Qiqi, it sounds like you were revivified by someone? That's fascinating to me.
We do have the ability to bring people back from the dead here in Europa, though only if their body is intact and if they haven't been dead for too long. Also, being revivified has the risk of memory loss (especially if it's been a while since your death).
But it seems like you remember a lot about your resurrection. Which is unusual.
I've had a Near-Death Experience during an SVV procedure back in Castle Heterodyne (by "near-death experience" I mean like an actual, almost-supernatural experience that you get from being on your deathbed — not "near-death experience" merely as in "I was in Castle Heterodyne"). I don't remember much of the details, but I do remember it was both scary and wonderful at once.

Wow, you know a lot - did Patchouli teach you or something? Because if so, I'm kinda surprised you have the patience to learn.
[2]
That sounds really interesting. I'm always in for trippy unusual experiences, it's a shame you don't remember anything.
Question, can I remove the link to the wargear VODs from this account's forum signature or does anyone still want a look?

If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.
Man, I wonder what an out-of-body ghost experience must be like. Wouldn't the body start rotting unless the ghost returned to the body in time? All of this talk about undeath, death and life is quite perplexing.
By the way, I found this epic orchestral track
online. It sounds so beautiful, and I love it.
Gah, not more orchestral stuff - (*listens to it*) - huh, it actually sounds great. It's the first orchestral track I've heard in a while that I actually enjoyed. Still prefer sound-design tracks to orchestral ones though. I've been listening to the musical styles of Celldweller, Zardonic and Voicians for inspiration in composing the former. By the way, as a Goth, I'm kind of fascinated by zombies in fiction. I wonder if there would be a zombie Pokemon that we learn about in the near future. Most likely it would be a Ghost/Dark-type.

Geez, so much about death in the thread, you think it was October or something.
I suppose not everyone here is that interested in thinking of the love to share (which can be platonic as well) for tomorrow huh sis.
So for Valentine's Day, Mina and I are gonna go out for a romantic date. We're probably gonna find some places to eat, watch some movies, and spend some much needed time together.
Awesome. I just get all happy thinking about it!
You guys make such a cute couple.
Cuteness overload!
I'm so happy for you guys!

] Ooh, how cute! A Slurpuff!
That's the way to do it, spread the happiness around!
Given how grim the topics have been lately (my fault included) that might useful. I'll be joining that crazy party tomorrow as well.

When Dracula's Curse is manageable through grand melodies. We'd be fine with it, not sure about Rui or the others.
I actually do remember mine a bit better. I was in the same SVV procedure as Wulfenbach, except my experience was a bit more . . . um . . . intense.
If I told you the details, Stefan, for legal reasons I'd have to trust you and everyone else in this thread to keep a secret, at least from people in my world. See, the royals have a lot of strict rules about inheritance, and— Ah, I may have said too much already.
(OOC: For context, this page
◊ has Gil explain what the deal is. TLDR, Fantastic Legal Weirdness says Tarvek maybe can't be king, and he doesn't want the news to get out.)

No. He is human. But even though I am a corpse, I am in better physical condition than him.
Just a wanderer.
