This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Meanwhile, I keep hearing about Pokémon in this galaxy that I've never even heard of appearing anywhere else, such as Glaice, Giftdrago and Stahlecatl. This galaxy does not make any sort of comprehensible sense, to me…
"Can you even read the blackboard written clear as can be?" / "Can you even read his mind? See that kid's lost fantasy?"
How long were you out, Ica?
Because I don’t think you have responded to Phos’s response from a while ago: [1]
I too am somewhat of a living experiment. I harbour far more affection for my master (or, perhaps, mother) than you two appear to, however, our circumstances are something similar. And as for the other point, I can’t say I relate. Profanity is rarely the most precise method of expressing a point. On the other hand, you should see Kaeya. He restrains himself at work, but with Venti or Rosaria, I believe that his speech is at least 40% swear words. Most of them directed at Diluc.
Just a wanderer.

I keep hearing about the "perfect specimen" from all kinds of sources, and I keep getting confused by it. What does it mean to be perfect, what criteria were set when it came to be decided what "perfect" meant? Is perfection even achievable? Consider this:
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.Let's say you want to optimize an organism's heat resistance. You'll immediately notice that there is no viable "highest heat resistance" to aim for, as you could increase heat indefinitely up until a plasma state, and at that point, every chemical bond, no matter how strong, will break. So even though there are temperatures hotter than the phase transition to plasma, no organism will survive them. With this in mind, how do you define a "perfect heat resistance"?
