This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

When Dracula's Curse is manageable through grand melodies.Haha, I'm back! What did I miss?
I'm back too, for once! Tasks are finally going down again, so I should have more time to chat here again. One thing that I'm slightly confused and annoyed about is that people don't seem to know how to do things - like fixing a pipe leakage. I had to do that at least 100 times, what's so difficult in adding some proper sealing? I blame a lack of tools.
...erm, what if the leaky pipe is in some really tight and hard to access space? I wouldn't be able to fix a leaky pipe, let alone that.
Wait, really? I thought you'd have learned that within the first 100 years of your lifespan.
I'm on my 19th.
Oh.
Maybe you can do a workshop or something, especially for tasks that you get a lot?
Sounds like a good idea, I guess I can try that.
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.
Honestly, I can relate. Defending myself against trainers trying to catch me has actually gotten me into a couple of fights...Thankfully, I usually win most of them.
A couple of humans have tried that with me, too. Usually, I just run away from them, though. I'm not really built to fight...

] Aww, that sounds kinda scary for you. aroo.
Only if there was a more harmless way for humans to catch Pokemon would be ideal.
Kinda makes me think what it's like to be in that position. I wonder how much it's takes for a Pokemon to accept their partnership with the trainers who catch them.

When Dracula's Curse is manageable through grand melodies.
Aww that's so sweet!!
What a beautiful relationship to have with your trainer!
Ah, yes. I forgot that the Anglais-translated name for the "Evil-type" is the "Dark-type".
Taking something that belongs not to yourself, but to another would be fitting with the Dark-type, I imagine. Thief being a Dark-type move, for one.

In my defense, stealing wasn't really something I wanted to do, but...oh well.
Not like the human came back for their little gadget anyways. They must have another one at their house.
I think of it as a mixture of both, personally. Partially dark powers, partially mischief and evil in general.
