This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

I swear, sometimes I think I'm the only person in Inazuma who doesn't like festivals. Is it really such a crime against humanity to dislike crowds? Ugh. For context, I got put on to investigate paranormal occurrences at a Test of Courage the Yashiro Commission is putting on, and it turns out a handful of lonely youkai were just trying to put on a festival. And now I am being forced to attend.
Just a wanderer.[1]
Hey, same! I'm an autist, so I tend to dislike crowds, too. Though a youkai festival with deaths does sound problematic...
Indeed, for the sake of everyone's ears and sanity.

The Traveler will probably understand that I really do not want to be there, and they would let me leave. They’re not an idiot. The only problem is that Arataki Itto is. He will drag me in by the arm if he has to.
Edit:I ended up getting out of it because of a convenient attempted burglary case I had to report. A criminal gets brought to justice, and I don’t have to attend a festival. Win-win.

Just a wanderer.
I'm not too huge on festivals myself, but thank heaven I don't remember anyone dying during them.
Well, except my uncle.
And my twice-removed cousin.
And my other twice-removed cousin.
And my thrice-removed cousin-in-law.
But, in all fairness, my auntie was acting in self-defence back then.
Actually, never mind what I said near the start, I do remember people dying during festivals.
Oh, where was I going with this again? Ah, yes! I'm glad to hear you managed to get the job done without going to that youkai festival, Herr Heizou.
Not Tropeworthy: Evil Redhead
I always found festivals very fun especially on holidays!
It fills me with so much joy to see a huge amount of happiness from the crowds in festivals! aroo
We certainly get a lot of them in our world. Though I don't mind it that could cause some to find them less special than intended.

When Dracula's Curse is manageable through grand melodies.[1]
Ooh a youkai festival? Those are always fun to go to! But then again I'm a youkai too.
I know the feeling, some say I'm like a bunny and puppy hybrid with a non lethal chimera tail.
Us Tamagotchis aren't supposed to resemble well known animals most of the time.
Even some of us look like food or other types of inanimate objects! aroo.

I know what it's like to be in a non human form since Mo-Jo turned my sisters and me into dogs, then there's the time where the Professor made an invention that caused a lot of body swapping through everyone in Townsville (including animals).
Wow, that's crazy. None of the transformation Kiraritchi and I had were like that.
Son of a batch, it's freezing today. I just got those chilly memories of when we turned into mermaids and got a cold afterwards.

Congrats, enjoy the temporary freedom!
Oi, back again after a long day of... intense procrastinating. I'm still not sure if I want the Dust of Azoth back that I've given away, since that'll probably raise suspicion, but I think I've settled for a solution. Right now I still need to stick around my home because mom's sick and can't do a lot of things herself, but instead of going to uni, I go to the SS Nomad, where EV lets me pilot an explorer mech in order to visit all the essential lectures! Spending time in zero G feels a bit weird, but I guess I'll get used to it.
I've also told Icarus about muscle fiber degradation, and he promised he'll drag me out of my designated chamber if I don't do my daily workouts. There's tons of things to do on the Nomad, especially in the organics wing, and I guess I'll be helping!

What are the festivals like in Gensokyo? I probably wouldn't join in, even if I could, but I'm curious.

So how did it actually feel to be a dog?

] Sounds like a great plan brother! Those could earn us a serious cash!
