This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

...But protium is a stable isotope, and it only needs to be kept away from oxygen... what? Anyways, can you tell me what you get when you fuse two protium atoms together?
Edit: Global warming is an effect induced by excessive release of greenhouse gases into the air. In short, these gases keep some of the heat in the atmosphere that Earth would otherwise radiate into outer space, and as a result, the planet slowly starts heating up. Not exactly a good thing for the local ecosystems, the only thing you can do against it is to minimize your production of those greenhouse gases.
Dang. Maybe I can drop a bit of trivia here? Not for too long, sadly, it's getting late. Also, the answer to Ica's question is deuterium
.

If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.
We don't really have a lot of airtight containers down here is what I meant! Anyway you get Deuterium obviously! It's how the sun makes it with the proton-proton reaction and how my own nuclear fusion works too!
Wow Global Warming sounds bad. Is that why Miss Okina keeps the petroleum under her control only?
Up to you my man. Anyway hope I didn't fuck up again as I did try to wikipedia this.

"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."Wow, that's correct. Also, unless you've got fires there and a steady supply of oxygen, you should be fine storing it in contai- wait, no, strike that, I'm an idiot. You need either airtight containers or a cooling system that can get the hydrogen gas down to 13.99K. Over here we put the stuff into high-pressure cells, which almost makes it look like a fluid.
Oh, and speaking of hydrogen cells - I'll have to go now and fix some power issues. Was nice getting to know you!
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.
See ya later!
Au revoir!
Til we meet again!
Bye bye!

When Dracula's Curse is manageable through grand melodies.Do you think maybe we could start a protest to finally get Banjo-Threeie made?
I don't know, that sounds a bit excessive...
Your melody still remains in this room and it ringsWait, didn’t Banjo-Onehundredandfourie just release? It had Calculon as L.O.G. and everything!
SKREEEEEEEONK!

If I made any inaccuracies on nuclear physics those are on me because I'm not quite versed in it. The joke here is Okuu is a wizard in nuclear physics but otherwise a total birdbrain.
