Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
Is that Mina Ashido from My Hero Academia??
He can, however, feel sad, like when his wife left him."Yep, that's me. In a Hayley Smith outfit. How are things going? Been a while since I last checked here."
"Paldea has a lot of different Pokemon from those in Kitakami." - CarmineI couldn't find the soul. Does anyone here possess a cure for voicdsbhudcshubshubcdsuhcsjhbcjhcdsbdiscbhubshuhbsdc
Grim had his face mashed into the keyboard by the void. You can guess why.
Bonsoir, Mina! Good to see you on this thread again! How's everything going lately?
Yeah babe, it's been a while! We're just chillin' with the rest of our Tama friends in the night skies!
It's such a beautiful evening tonight!
Look at all the pretty fireflies!
Ooh, can we catch some of them? I like catching bugs especially the beautiful ones!
Sure, let me get the bug catching nets!
Don't let the mosquitoes bite you! Hahaha!
Ahhh, the city lights always looks so lively at night!
Uh-huh, prefect for a jam session! Whaddya say Kiraritchi?
Let's get this night blazin'!
Mind if add my sensational tunes?
Wowser, you girls surely know how to spend a summer night!
You said it, Buttercup! So much fun before we have to go beddy bye!
Meet the Tamas!◊ This is where it will end, by my hand.Life’s been good mostly. What’ve you been up to?
Who’s that?
That’s Mina, one of the friends I made on this thread.
Hey there Mina! I’m Shadow! Say, what’s up with those eyes?

SKREEEEEEEONK!"Things are going well for me at home. Right now trying to study for some difficult summer course exams. Thinking about traveling to Europe next, after that trip in Mexico."

"Paldea has a lot of different Pokemon from those in Kitakami." - CarmineYou phrase it like that’s not normal.
Here’s the thing, she’s actually a human believe it or not.
What?
SKREEEEEEEONK!Sorry for mashing my face on the keyboard. Be careful because your appearance might cause people to make the wrong assumptions about you. I am speaking from experience.
Ooh, Europe is where we're from! It was nice but Gensokyo is a lot more fun!
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."Well to be fair most vampires are from Europe.
SKREEEEEEEONK!Yeah but most think we're from Romania for some reason. The only person from there that I know is Patchy's other magician friend with the dolls.
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."You like magic too? Cool!
Magic is super fun! Spell card duels especially!
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."I’ve heard of spell books, but spell cards? What’s next a spell CD?
SKREEEEEEEONK!Probably some kind of catalyst for spells? On a related note, do you guys think it's possible for a robot to practice magic? Because the idea sure sounds interesting.
Also, I'm almost done prototyping a "little" something, and I'll hopefully be doing some test runs this evening. Let me know if you're interested in participating! Fyi, no, it's not experiments on organic beings.
"Please do not reproduce this textbook." - S. Banach & A. TarskiYou want to cast spells, right? I could bring a sample of the void and figure out something. Since you are mechanical, I think the void will different effects. Or is it too risky for you?
I doubt I would get in trouble if I got in contact with your universe's Void, because I have plenty of safeguards in place that disrupt any kind of magical mind-control/corruption. However, one of the safeguards is a self-destruct sequence, which triggers a bunch of explosive charges on my mech, so you might be at bigger risk than me.
"Please do not reproduce this textbook." - S. Banach & A. TarskiI don't know what a CD is but Spell Cards is how we have duels in Gensokyo! It makes it so even pushovers like humans can stand up to a youkai like me! It's more about how pretty your attacks look than raw power. You also have to put a time limit and can't use other spell cards at the same time. I can't use Laevateinn and Maze of Love together for example. You also have to agree with your opponent how many cards you'll use. I once got into a 20 card fight with big sis, it was fun!
Though I heard it doesn't actually need to be magic, one of those weird Taoist ladies even throws plates in one of hers according to Marisa!
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."
I’M BACK BABY!
SKREEEEEEEONK!Hello friends. I am still Grim. Can you please pay me a visit? It is rather lonely.
Who?

He can, however, feel sad, like when his wife left him.x4 CDs are a form of data storage. Basically, you take a circular plastic disk (don't ask me which plastic, I don't know) and engrave specific patterns on it using a laser. Another laser can then read off the pattern from the disk and decode the encrypted message. CDs are a bit space-inefficient though, so I believe they quickly got replaced by USB sticks.
x3 Hi, fellow robot.
I can give you an AI to discuss philosophy with - I'm kinda busy right now, got several projects running simultaneously, and keeping up with all of them is quite a hassle.
Speaking of the projects, I was a bit vague about one of them earlier. It's a floating Fullspeed style multilap racetrack and some special race cars built specifically for the track. I'll be hosting a race this evening, and if people here are interested, I can give you computer terminals to remotely pilot a car. Otherwise, I'll just ask some people from my homeworld if they want to race.

Teh heh, guess we should slow down then (kidding).
