This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

That was a song? Looks like generic Purple Prose to me. Don't take it personally, though - maybe there is some profound meaning behind it, and I'm just too dumb to understand.
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong. In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this.
What is the cost of lies?
Why would you let a Pikachu pilot a spaceship?!
We test our limits.
Beneath the light... comes judgment!
Do you know why snow is white?
Surrender now to oblivion!
The end result appears to be a duplicate squirrel of some sort.
The memory of the star that threatened all burns eternal in our hearts.
What do we know... of the world and the universe about us?

What's next, the floor is lava?
In bug news, the zombies in a necromancer's tower became suspicious after the necromancer failed to age and he fled into the hills.
I'll fall into the shadows.
It is predicted to be an age of violence and upheaval.
I found out there are apparently a limited number of night creatures.
How dare you survive to this age and not get that reference.
Apocalypses don't work that way.
And for the final touch, fly awaaaaay!
This girl speaks as incoherently as she types.
Searing fire, cleansing flame!
Do you understand the splendor of this? Do you?!
OOC: bold guess is kinda right? Shadowheart Cibryll Speaks in Shout-Outs only. I just look up stuff from the various Quotes namespace or elsewhere, for the most part. Or from works I'm actually familiar with.
As for the pink text… I'll figure that character out eventually.
THIS... IS NOT THE STRANGEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. THERE ARE MANY MAD GODS. YOU WILL GET USED TO IT. AND WHEN YOU DO, SHE WILL SWITCH. IF SHE BECOMES SOME TYPE OF THREAT TO ME... I WILL NOT HESITATE TO KILL HER, BUT SHE PROBABLY WILL NOT DUE TO THIS BEING HER LAST PERSONALITY. THAT WE KNOW OF.
Checking in on this account after leaving the site, MAN that is a cringy forum post history. Daaamn. Never again. If you want a head start on tomorrow, eat breakfast tonight – that way you can sleep until lunchtime.

Yeah, it clearly says "Girl from the future" under the avatar - at least I assume that's what it is, haven't really bothered with formatting too much on my end. On that note, care to introduce yourself, new person? I'm Icarus, and I can build almost anything lighter than one solar mass. If you need something built, just ask!
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.I bear the name Lavitka. I am indeed from a future, where the Earth was destroyed in the year 2025. This gives me approximately two, perchance two-and-a-half, years to stop this from happening.
