This is a thread where, as the title implies, our avatars (from our galleries) are posting in an in-universe forum thread. You can drop in any time with pretty much any character you want, whether from existing works or your own OCs. Though most of it is done through forum posts, some "in-person" interactions between characters is also fine.
Even if this is a more casual RP, there are still some rules and general RP etiquette to keep in mind for everyone to have a good time and feel comfortable:
- NO GODMODDING. Godmodding is when you decide what happens to another player's character, and is generally frowned upon. In particular, avoid injuring and especially killing someone else's character; fighting is ok but let the other player decide if the hit connects. If your plot idea requires something to happen to a different player's character, you'll want to privately discuss this with them and if they're ok with that. This includes in-universe moderation.
- Be nice and respect other players' boundaries. Your character being mean or a jerk is one thing, but if someone gets uncomfortable about your behavior towards their characters, knock it off. Also do not force others into your story arcs; in general it would be a good idea to ask the other person first if they are interested, and plan it together if they are.
- If you have anything to say, ask about, ect. that is not part of the RP, you can put it under a spoiler tag [[spoiler: like this]]
- While almost any character is welcome, please avoid playing any real-life person who's mainly associated with controversies, drama and problematic behavior. We don't need that here.
- Have fun!
Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.

Uh, Stephen Hawking? Sure, he was paralyzed for a huge part of his life, but he managed to make huge contributions to astrophysics, thanks to a computer with a text-to-speech program. And he was witty, too, I've heard!
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.
x3 So what? I've given you an answer.

Think so... yep. registry
confirms. Though apparently he only started using a wheelchair "at the end of the 1960s".
This is getting insane for me...
Are you sure about meeting all these outsiders Phos? There's even one
that's worse than the Lunarians.
You may have a point Cinn...
However, Ica's got something cool
on the way, so don't fret too much!
Speaking of which, is there a way can Sensei and the rest of us help you with this situation
, Ica???
Don't think so, we're working with a single target which needs some very specific methods to attack. And I think it might not be safe for you, because I suspect the Scarlet King will be doing something soon that will affect the whole battlefield universe. Thanks for the offer, though!
Cutting sequence almost done, by the way - only about one more meter to go. If that's going to be the last bit of the fight, I'm gonna come over and show you what I've made, Cinn. (Can I call you that?)
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.I don't think you need to evac yet - hell, if I can't get to your world without major complications, and my universe travel method is basically brute force, I don't know how the Scarlet King would reach it. Even then, I don't know where you should evacuate all the residents to.
For a bit of background info, there are a good ~3000 universes out there somewhere, which contain an organization called the SCP Foundation. Most of them regularly perform a certain extra-Squicky procedure on a human in order to keep the Scarlet King out of their world, out of fear that he might break in and destroy everything. I've heard a bunch of theories that this might not be the case, though - every single SCP Foundation is really secretive and sometimes deliberately writes misinformation into an item entry.
To answer your question, no, I don't know if that's a nickname or if it's his actual name, but all the SCP Foundations call him that, so most of us here decided to stick with it.
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.
AI with access to the console
idiot has attempted to spawn cults among my people and children this transgression of their freedom of thought shall not be forgiven and must be repaid. There are plenty of other names we now know whether their more epithets or a true name is unknown.

The cutting job is done. Surprisingly, nothing happened... will keep all my Battlestars in position for the next six hours, though, just to be safe.

...What the hell? The guy has no sense of decency, does he? ... Now that I think about it, the guy's immortal, so he also lacks a sense of aim. Destroying all of existence probably isn't something you can do indefinitely, especially not with a sustained sense of satisfaction.
Anyways, I'm off now, got a delivery to handle, and combat data to evaluate.
Ica doesn't know Cinn's body proportions, so he'll probably have to adjust the backpack accordingly.

Hee hee!
Even if they were actually referring to unicorns, not all of them are nice like Pegasolta Eclair from Mega Man Zero.

Hey, I know quite a few of them that aren't!
