Well, if you're a fan of Star Wars, I suppose you could assume they're using force powers on each others. Otherwise, it just looks like two people trying to grab hands.

It is not an example, either. The Force is not when people use Psychic Powers. It's when life is a source of energy. The image was newly added a few days ago.

The first thing that comes to mind is the scene of Vader Force-choking that schmuck from the first movie. Maybe combine that with a pic of Yoda lifting Luke's X-Wing from the swamp?

EDIT: On second thought, those may not be good examples.

I vote non picturable, the trope is about a metaphysical concept.

Midi-chlorians perhaps?

Ok Ok, not the best example.

If we were going for the literal Force from Star Wars, then yeah, people using force pulls and whatnot would be easy to picture.

But if we're going with the more metaphysical angle, then that would be more difficult. It would have to looked more along the lines of something like The Lifestream.

An image of Force Pulls is not in any way indicative of this trope. The trope is lifeforce is real power, in some way. This can't be communicated by watching people hurl objects through the air.

Magic The Gathering has lots of examples of lifeforce as energy. A few: [1] [2] [3] [4]

[up] I like the picture on number four.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.

Doesn't really do it for me. The trope is "The very fabric of the universe is good, and acts subtely towards goodness through fate, magic, The Call, etc..."

None of the image convey that. They show image of Druids and nature folk, but those arent what the trope is about. The trope is not "People with Green Thumb Powers"

Part of me wants to be a jerk and back the "midichlorians" suggestion.

Other than that, not really picturable unless someone finds a really good illustration.

Is anyone gonna take a crack at the description or should I start a TRS?
