Accursed Farms (Freeman's Mind, Civil Protection, Ross's Game Dungeon)

Wow, and it's been less than a month too.

Either I have completely forgotten what that game looks like, or he is now playing with a better, shinier version.

He's playing on Half Life: Source. The textures are better, for starters, including water (uses Half Life 2 water effects now).

I find that a lot of the videos have one person who goes "half-life sux, cod is better."

"cod"? Isn't that the FPS with a cast made entirely of fish?

This series is a favorite of mine too. Comic gold.

Re that thing about "The Tunnel" being targeted for Halloween and actually coming out in March: it was Halloween of 2009 and March 2011 respectively. And the former was just over a year after he had first mentioned it and even then described it as having been partially produced. That's how much trouble he has producing these with the Source engine, mostly because of animation work. (Granted it wasn't the only thing he was working on, or even the only CP episode in the works during that first year, but still...) I'm glad he puts quality first, though. It really shows.

Ross plans to have weekly releases but also plans to slow down on FM to work on Civil Protection.

I wonder why he didn't go through the whole thing. Maybe so all his talking in the actual sereis about being new to this actually makes sense.

So, Are there any good Freeman's Mind imitators? I tried Parker's Mind, but he doesn't seem to have much of a personality compared to Freeman.

It makes sense, his Gordon isn't a complete idiot and won't jump from that height without a good reason. In a training experience he doesn't see the point and quits. Also it makes the line in the series about him never firing a gun before work.

Edit Chell's mind is decent but doesn't update nearly enough for my taste. That's the only one I've tried.

There's a portion in the tutorial level where Freeman uses firearms. That would directly contradict the FM of Freeman I Know Mortal Kombat-ing his firearm skills from watching Die Hard.
