EDIT: Got
Welp, Gordon's not off to good start with the Vortiguants.

Funny thing, after that first guy posted, I first thought there was a new episode, only to be disappointed. Then the same exact day, the new episode actualy comes out.
Gordon needs to start embracing his role as the post-apocalyptic messiah.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Apparently you can't kill that Vortigaunt in the regular game. He modded it somehow. Which is appropriate, I guess, but damn.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Looking forward to his reaction to the headcrab missiles.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Aha, now we see what Freeman thinks of Manhacks. Which are, no doubt, an incredibly inefficient way to kill people — they're more of a terror weapon.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"What stood out to me was how Freeman has started acknowledging the existence of ammo crates. I wonder what other sacrifices to immersion will get made by the end of this series?
I was watching one of Ross's videochats and he mentioned the biggest upcoming challenge for the series' immersion will be the end of the Water Hazard chapter when Gordon has to jump off a ramp and over the dam, mostly because of there's no way his Gordon would be stupid enough to pull a jump that dangerous and the situation is desperate enough for it.
It'd be interesting to see how Ross handles that scene. Will he have Gordon stumble off the damn by accident? Climb down the rock face and prays that he doesn't die? A failed suicide attempt? It'll be a while before he'll get to that, so Ross will have plenty of time to figure it out.

I'll bet Gordon will have an absolute blast with the airboat, though.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"If he thinks he's going to have trouble with the dam I have no idea how he's going to handle the metal coffin.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Yeah, no kidding.
I suppose we could talk about Ross' other projects in this thread, since I don't see ones for them. I've already watched the complete Civil Protection series and have been binging Game Dungeon over the past few days. It's easy to hear the Freeman character in his speaking style, isn't it?

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"You can really tell that in the Game Dungeon episodes when he starts to go on tangents. Moments where Ross talks about having Soul Insurance or the band Point Defiance being time travellers really remind of times where Gordon talks about things like waking up naked in Amsterdam or squirrels knocking out the power to his college.
The episode where he gives detailed blueprints for building a cult is fascinating and disturbing at the same time.
Edit: I updated the thread title to cover all of Ross's work.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I also wonder how he's going to explain racing Barney to Dr. Kleiner's office if he doesn't remember Barney.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Isn't that in the "Low Life" chapter of Episode 1? I mean, we hope he's going to do the Episodes after the main game, of course, but that's a loooooong way off. I just hope that Gordon starts to like Alyx by the end of this game, because if not, having her omnipresent is going to be agonizing.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Apparently, Ross got tracheitis and has been down for the count for a while. He's getting better but it'll be a while before he can do voice work. I'd post the blog link but my work Internet blocks his site.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"New Freeman's Mind 2? Don't mind if I do.
It's a good Sunday. Ross has graced us with a new Freeman's Mind. Kind of sad that Gordon is making so little progress per episode, but this is a very puzzle-heavy section of the game. Isn't the airboat section next? That'll be fun.
Also, Dave and Mike cameo!

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I know it's early, but I gotta wonder - how long do you think it'll take Gordon to realize how bad things have gotten for Earth? If at all?
I hope it doesn't. It'll be hilarious when he'll climactically banter with Breen while having no idea what the latter is talking about or anything that was going on.
I don't know... even someone as self-centered as Gordon could figure out that the world's fucked after he sees the ships lying on exposed ocean floors.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I can see Gordon being baffled by the dried up seas, since the sea levels should've risen if anything due to global warming. He'll probably determine the Combine have somehow managed to reverse climate change by killing off most of the world's population. It would tie in very well to that Civil Protection episode.
I knew about this for a while but finally decided to watch it last week. I binged the whole thing over the weekend, subscribed to it, and am now going through some serious withdrawal symptoms. Why, oh why, did I not watch it sooner?!
"Stop being assholes! I know you can do it; I just have to teach you WITH MY BULLETS!!!"
