CONGRATULATIONS!

You are one of the 1 in 100,000 people who have been entered into the amazing LIAR GAME TOURNAMENT!

(Recieve Cash)

Thank you for participating in the LIAR GAME! By opening up this thread, you have formerly acknowledged your desire to play the LIAR GAME. you can no longer withdraw your entry. the enclosed 100 million Universal Credits is to be your MONEY for the first round of the LIARS GAME.

Please take good care of it.

Here are the rules for the first round of the LIAR GAME. it is simply a game where each player competes for each opponent's MONEY. You may use any means necessary. Please seize your opponent's MONEY. Since this game is of mutual consent, you will not be accused of being a criminal for taking your opponent's MONEY, so rest assured. The match is free-for-all. The game will last for a period of 1,000 posts. The victor is the one who posesses the largest sum of MONEY at the moment the game ends.

After the game is concluded, office representatives will come to retrieve the MONEY. at that time, what will be collected is the MONEY that was given to all players at the start of the game. We ask that players return the MONEY the moment staff representatives come to collect it. In the event that you sucsees in taking your opponent's MONEY, then naturally there will be a surplus. In such a case, that will become your prize. However, one the other hand, if you have lost MONEY, even if you must go into debt, we will have you reimburse us for the losings.

good luck!

...So how does this work in actual gameplay terms?

I actually thought this would be a thread from Noa.

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

It doesn't work so well as a forum game. Especially the first round.

Later rounds would make more sense. Round 2, for starters - the Minority Rule game, where a yes/no question is posed and the group that voted for the least popular answer proceeds. The odds of survival seem random, but the game can be controlled.

Yeah, this doesn't work as a forum game. Maybe a RP.

yeah, i thought about it myself. i was hoping to just make it a simple ITT sort of roleplay thing. but i dont think it's gonna work out, specifically because the cannon has different rules for each section of the game. trying to come up with rules involving money and lieing that wont dissolve into childish bickering is a challenge bigger than me. I think i jumped the gun on this thread without being prepared, so i've requested it get deleted.

maybe someone more clever than me can come up with an alternative, if they think the premise is a good idea.

And even as a roleplay it won't work, since those of us who have read the mangas already know how to break the games.
