Lucem Ferto
Gameplay is fun and frantic but if you aren't very good be prepared to buy a lot of potions and win by wearing enemies down purely with attrition.
The distinction of different weapons is pretty amazing, so far Shield may be my favorite but I haven't tried any of the Royal Arms yet, still waiting to get Ignis's Recovery ability first.
So when I'm driving manually as Noctis, even though I'm holding the button right down (this is on PS 4, so it's R2) the top speed is pitifully slow, far slower than when Ignis drives note . Has anyone else had this problem, or is this normal? I have a feeling it might a controller settings issue; I remember having a problem in Destiny, I think, where a full-auto weapon wouldn't fire on full-auto even with the button held right down, and I had to change a setting somewhere to fix it.
While I'm at it, on my screen the very edge of the HUD is cut off (half of the last letter of quest objectives, for example). It's not actually stopping me doing anything, but it's very annoying, and I can't find a way to sort it out. Does anyone know a fix for this?
Googling coughed up a couple other posts about slow driving as Noctis, but no fixes. At least it's not just me.
EDIT - Ugh, one post mentions it being a mechanical problem with the controller, they had to disassemble it to fix it. People also mentioned being stuck at a certain point because of the slow driving. I don't want to have to take my controller apart :c

Ya know all SE needed was to ape the ending of Young Guns to make the Guy Friendship movie complete. Ignis gives a post Noctis sacrifice epilogue for all the surviving characters only to reveal someone 'vandalized' his tomb... One word inscribed in the wall... PALS
This is an outrage against Luminara!Huh cool that they used a boss from a previous game. She looks great in the new engine. They really should remake all the games with these intense graphics.
Well hopefully they announce something for her. Such a sad fate the character received, both game-wise & meta-wise.
The World of Ruin is pretty much set up to be DLC bait... Hell The original World of Ruin was easily the biggest timesink of FFVI a like 80% of it was optional, I wouldn't even be surprised if they add stuff that effects the ending
In the end Luna was... Typical Tabata supporting female... I mean compared to his more NOTORIOUS Female leads...Luna is kinda inoffensive but unremarkable. She's like SAFE zone territory for SE
This is an outrage against Luminara!Luna you can tell they wanted to present her as a certain way to help illustrate her indomitable personality and the love from afar thing she and Noctis have but it really takes away from just presenting her as relatable and likable.
Being penpals with a dog delivery service though is a very cute thing.

Honestly, Iris or Aranea sound like safer bets for a potential female DLC senario lead
GUNDAMU GUNDAMUThey implied Luna will be getting one already, that being said I bet Aranea and Iris will at least feature in the DLC
Also holy shit, the party banter. Prompto just said about Altissa, and all three of the guys flirted with him.
- "This place is so romantic."
- "Yeah and you get to enjoy it with us."
- "All three of us."
- "You are a very lucky man."

I do find it funny that that basically Iris, Aranea and Gentiana 'Ya know THE DREAM The LOVE INTEREST WE'VE ALWAYS WANTED' are basically more well received then Luna
Maybe if they made her more active in the plot? But thats the problems Kingsglaive kinda Shanghais her into position where She has to be away from Noctis so We can't see them really interact
I mean if you stop and think about it All four of the guys are some form of Girlporn/Fantasy boyfriend
I mean its still there even with the bromance going on.
