It's clearly early footage.
Animation was nice, but also a bit floaty. It's also obvious that they haven't given Ignis a flinching animation at all since he took a full behemoth claw to the face and just stood there like nothing happened.
Sometimes damage numbers wouldn't appear.
Bullets apparently don't even do anything yet as a bunch of screens show soldiers shooting straight at your party and completely whiffing.
And, most obviously, the menus are just placeholders.
Nomura said the earliest footage of this would be E3(at best), so hopefully they progress a lot by then.

No matter how many times I read that, it doesn't make sense.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/07/13/nomura_on_ff_versus_xiii/
The lack of screenshots is trolling to the extreme... especially when they go on and on about how awesome they look. D=
I love the camera mechanic, though. =D FFXIII was beautiful, and the ability to take in-game screenshots would be one of the best things ever. ^_^
On the other hand... kind of confused why they decided to only use change the characters' hair for lower LOD models; from what I've heard, if the characters get too far away from the camera, unnecessarily-high poly models become inefficient due to the polys becoming smaller than the pixels displaying them...?

Color me interested in this game, if only to see how this will play out.
I have a feeling if it ever comes out and meet our expectation, it would be to Final Fantasy what Modern Warfare was to Call Of Duty. Just me.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.

I'm really anxious for this game. It looks like the most promising title in the FNC Compilation.
