He's not an example. He's not an Audience Surrogate for a female audience.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI do know the work. Gir is a good example. Keef, not so much. He's more a Cheerful Child turned Creepy Child. Gir is the robot in a dog suit in my icon though. Not the best visual example.
This is Keef
◊. Creepy Child with glowing red eyes.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWell believe it or not....Goku is (according to the manga) physically speaking suppose to resemble that of an 18 year old boy. (looks younger doesn't he?)
To top that off....he's a demon monkey-who was sealed away for like 500 years. And he was alive and conscious during all of that solitary time in a cage-chained up, with no food to eat or people to talk to....for 500 years.

This is Mimi-don't let her cuteness fool you-she's got spunk.
Keef... who is not an example of this trope, since he's not an Audience Surrogate for the ladies.
Yes, I watch Invader Zim. It's funny.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. You know, I was going to explain why the original pic was bad. But then I found out that the only reason it wasn't implemented was because people are scared of being banned.
It would be totally against the spirit of the wiki for Eddie to override consensus, so I'm sure he was acting as a poster. If he wanted to act by fiat, he could have erased and blocked the image.
It would be really, really bad form for Eddie to ban someone for following the rules. Eddie would never do that. He knows a wiki where even the good editors were banned would never work.
I'll address why the image doesn't work in another post. But you should not be scared to follow the rules. Eddie can always come in here and explain why it is a bad image like the rest of us have to do, and get it changed. Banning someone wouldn't accomplish that.
Everyone Has An Important Job To DoOkay, now back to the original topic:
Yes, a Keet is effeminate. But it doesn't work if the person is so effeminate that you cannot tell the person is a boy.
This is honestly a big problem with anime in general—there is often little distinction between girls and boys. Throw in that the trope requires femininity, and that it has to be an example fo the trope, and it's going to be really hard to find an anime example that works.
Scratch that. Read the examples on the page—quite a few of them are not feminine looking. If that's a requirement for a keet, then this needs to be taken to TRS.
I mean, Naruto is on that page. He's not effeminate at all. But he is very Genki. And very kid-like, so I'm sure a lot of women identify with him.

Everyone Has An Important Job To DoI'm all for putting the original image back up, it's just that I wanted to ask the proper procedure for appealing to Fast Eddie about it.
Reaction Image RepositoryIf Keef doesn't fit this trope, then why does the main page say it does? I'm confused...
P.S. If we do end up using Keef as the image, the caption should at least be "Not to be confused with this guy."

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:

Which is why I think Goku would be better than the previous pink haired girly boy. (no offense to those who love that character, I just think the Keetness is a little too far-he looks more like a Genki Girl than he does a Keet Boy)
