"In another day?" "No, somethin' better than that, I'm going to make a name for myself."
Does it need to be a movie trailer? Because I really like

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile. How do you embed videos?

Words cast into the uncaring void of the internet.I hated The Social Network trailer. Nothing more than a bad cover of Creep and Jesse Eisenberg's terrible acting and blank expressions (especially not pleasant when shown on a big screen).
Anyways, here's two.

More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I'm not the biggest 300 fan, but I really love this trailer. One could argue it's not good at being a trailer, because pretty much everything that's good about the flick can be found in this trailer. I personally do not mind, since it saves me about 100 minutes whenever I get in the mood for some ridiculous action. Extra points for the music, and the pacing is pretty damn good, the use of the speech (/hamgasm) really ties the last part together.

Liveblog | Deadblog300 is, if nothing else, one of the most viral trailers ever. I thought it was pretty awesome, too. The Wall-E teaser is everything a teaser should be—it really makes you want to see more.
My favorite? Disney's 2000 film Dinosaur:
It's a great piece of wordless storytelling (and scenery porn) in its own right. And then they went and released this craptastic movie.
I didn't understand the big deal about the 300 trailer. All that really happens is people screaming and falling off cliffs. I remember being surprised by the opening weekend numbers because I didn't really know of anyone who wanted to see it (by comparison, I remember a lot of people interested the previous Frank Miller adaptation, Sin City).
Also, they never ran the trailer before any movies before it opened (and I see A LOT of movies in the theatre).
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/They don’t make ’em like this anymore:
They used to show this and other similar trailers as filler on the old Comedy Central talk show Night After Night With Allan Havey. Co-host Nick Bakay commented on this trailer by saying, “I thought we were The Hump-Happiest Goofball of Them All.”
