Could we perhaps shrink this down a bit? It's a great image, but it stretches way too long.

IMO something like resizing an image doesn't need a thread/discussion, just do it. :) Careful about going too small / making the text illegible, though.

Just get rid of the third panel. The first two are enough.

Resized to 500 pixels tall. Also removed the front of the car, since it's kind of unnecessary.

Well, with such a long image like this, it could be problematic. Unless you shrink it a lot, there won't be that big of a difference, and that could ruin it.

What I should be asking is this: Should we stick with how it is now, attempt to shrink it even if it comes out with very small text, or use only one or two frames.

Edit: [up] I suppose that works. I would have to see how it looks on the page, but it's better then what's up there now.

I swapped it to the smaller version. It's shorter than the text now at least on my monitor. I'd say that's short enough.

Just get rid of the third panel.

Disagree. Unlike a resize, that is a big change. I think the panel content and order was the result of a lot of discussion.

It was chosen via crowner a while back. Lots of other options too.

It had like 10 panels at first and was cut down.

Yeah, I don't think we need to drop a panel. I think shrinking it and cutting out the bumper is a relatively minor change though. It doesn't lose any legibility. It doesn't lose the important bits. Dropping a panel would make it lose a lot.
