I wonder if the Mobius situation will be altered, like Sonic and Shadow are trying to get the Emeralds so that they can use Chaos Control to reverse the planet's destruction? Since honestly, with the increased emphasis on humour, the Mobius Apocalypse would feel out of place.
It's also interesting to see how the tone has evolved from the older DBZ inspired flash animations of the 00's. The dub soundtrack is gone, it takes itself much less seriously, ect. Hell, it kinda reflects how these days, Dragon Ball is more defined by things like Kai, Battle of Gods and Resurrection F, which are more loyal to the humorous elements of the original.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...IIRC the first couple episodes of the first one were very humorous and less DBZ-esque as well, and all the seriousness and huge fights came in with Sonic and Shadow.
I like how the revival toys a bit with the conventions from the first one that everyone imitates, while still retelling the same basic idea.

Well, it helps that the source series from both franchises don't take themselves as seriously either. Hopefully Shadow won't be too much of an asshole like he was in the original. I know he had a Freudian Excuse, but it really irked me how most Sonic/DBZ parodies give him the same exact personality as Vegeta when they're only similar superficially.
If the whole Mobius backstory is still intact, I'd prefer if he was more standoffish and taciturn as opposed to irritable.

Watch SymphogearI caught it...but it was small.

He generally got better with each episode. Now that he feels better with his goals more clear, he'll probably make even greater leaps and bounds then he did I not the original one.
I can't be the only one who laughed out loud at every instance of "BOO,YOU STINK!" did I?

I'm sure he can find a way, it's just that those fights were pretty much perfectly choreographed. It'd be tough to improve on perfection.
The Basilisx fight was also extremely well-made, regardless of Basilisx himself being a shoehorned OC.
My only complaint with the reboot thus far is that the dialogue still feels somewhat stilted. It's a vast improvement over the original, but Bowser should be speaking in contractions where possible, and I saw "unconscious" was spelled as "unconcious" at one point, among other things. I think maybe Mark should "hire" a proofreader for the script to clean it up a bit?

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! He's going to rest for a while, I think. Though yeah, he probably should have a proofreader ready.
Watch SymphogearThere were a few mis-spellings, not easily noticeable.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I think the dialogue also should have an indication for when it's proceeding, rather than just blipping to a new line of text. Makes it hard to see what's going on on-screen if you have to keep an eye on the text to catch it changing. A small scroll animation would be eye-catching.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Well, while Dragonball Z didn't take itself seriously, the dub toning down the humour and the way it got perceived by the western fanbase helped contribute to the darker fanworks during that period. I honestly do feel that it's seen as much softer these days. But then again, I could be wrong on that, and I don't have a grasp of the fanbase.
There is also that the stigma against Sonic's friends seems to have died down post Sonic 06, likely thanks to their new V As in Generations and them not being played up as much.
EDIT: Actually, since he's confirmed the pipe maze episode will be gone (A bit of a shame, since I found it a nice breather episode but oh well) I suppose the doomship assault will be expanded upon in it's episode. Although I see it taking two episodes.

A corpse should be left well enough alone...I'll be the one and say the "Boo, you stink" gag got old after the third time. I did also notice a few misspellings myself in a few instances. Its still pretty rough, but its a damn good effort.
Didn't Alvin say he was going to change things around this time? We might not even get the three way fight as it was.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I don't think any one on one battle would match the epic-ness of that fight, that's just not a fair comparison.

I loved all the Smash Bros references throughout the episode. It's amazing when you compare this episode to the first two. There has been a huge increase in quality since then. I wonder if every episode is going to be around 30 minutes, but we'll see. I'm looking forward to seeing old episodes be reimagined, especially the Yoshi's Island fight. But that's still a ways off, so we'll all have to be patient.
