Rose won't debut until Street Fighter Alpha but if she had showed up in Super Street Fighter 2, Musetta Vander would be perfect for the role and the kind of movie Street Fighter became. If we're sticking to available characters at the time, she could take the role of Eliza but reimagined as Ken's girlfriend/fiance.
Set! Avenge! "Henshin." Black General! Bujin Sword! Ready, Fight! The game based on the movie is a lot of fun too. (Zangief's ending is sad though.)
The Protomen enhanced my life.I thought wrestling was scripted even if the fights are real, do you actually go evil in wrestling or what?
Was the undead wizard real all along?

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Apparently, in the SF universe, some promotions do the whole scripted stuff, while in others, it's like an actual martial arts competition.
And with all the weird shit running around, a wrestler that's actually a sorcerer wouldn't be out of place.

Wake me up at your own risk.It would seem to be that wrestling was real in the days of Haggar and Zangief but by the time of Rainbow Mika it's becoming scripted, at least if we accept the comicbooks' words on it since when Mika fought Zangief she expected a scripted fight and Zangief was confused by the idea.
Please remember that, ultimately, fictional works of entertainment are just that.![]()

Assuming Slam Masters is part of the Street Fighter universe (since Mike Haggar is part of the lineup and Hugo does name drop female wrestler Black Widow in his Street Fighter 3: 2nd Impact ending), one of the wrestlers is The Wraith whose gimmick is a snake-themed zombie who may or may not really be undead. And w/ all the wacky insane stuff in real life Pro Wrestling kayfabe-wise (seriously look up the Dungeon of Doom, everything from Bray Wyatt, The Boogeyman, Chucky feuding w/ Rick Steiner and Robocop saving Sting), The Wraith doesn't look out of place.

Set! Avenge! "Henshin." Black General! Bujin Sword! Ready, Fight!Zangief being evil in stuff like the cartoon and movie is probably knee jerk reaction from American writers to him being Russian. You know how it is. At least in the movie he does face turn once he realizes what's going on. The Arcade version of the movie game does have him vanish forever, haunted by the things he did as Bison's dumb muscle, while the console version he gets over it pretty quick, goes back to wrestling and hangs out with Honda...ironically like his Alpha 3 ending.
Also this shit's why him being a baddie in the cartoon again makes no sense to me if its meant to be in continuity with the movie. Like, they kept Blanka being Charlie, Dhalsim being a former scientist and Ryu and Ken being small time crooks on the side but suddenly Dee Jay's a hero while Zangief's back with Bison, and Shadaloo's a criminal organization like in the games now rather than being a small Vietnam-esque nation like in the movie.
Are explosions science? My best guess is Dee Jay's role as a Bison henchman and Zangief's Heel–Face Turn were late additions to the movie script and the animated series already was in development when they were put in. It'd also explain why they kept Evil!Balrog to a single episode.
Shadaloo may be explained by Bison being booted as a tyrant, using the name for his group.

Please remember that, ultimately, fictional works of entertainment are just that.

Movie Bison is delusional enough to think that he's the good guy in this movie.
Exhibit A: His speech.
Though his interactions with Dhalsim make me think he just assumed Dhalsim would be too scared to do anything against him.
