"Pretty fitting if I do say so myself" Sarah opened her vial and looked at the blood within.
Well it doesn't look too inviting... and it smells way too much like metal
Sarah's heart started to beat a little faster as she realized that this might be the point in which her life changed forever. She had a sudden foreboding that when the blood passed her lips... nothing would be the same anymore.
"Lets just hope this ends well"

Cedi casually strolled the streets, his mind occupied with many things. Admittedly, part of that midset was focused on the likes of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and every other of his favorite animes or other otaku-and-"fantasy"-based fancies, but he was also trying to calculate times and dates... for a very important reason.
Cedi had stumbled into Arcadia some time before, and as a result had his humanity stripped from him, giving him a new form (Which he was somewhat thrilled by, being a large fan of such fantasies, until he figured out that his old life was Lost FOREVER). Thankfully, he also was taught magic neccesary to resume his former identity, so that nobody grows suspicious of his absence or just outright freaks out when seeing him. However, he had only so much time before said magic would wear out, and he kept the date by which he must return to Arcadia to re-focus burned in his mind...
As Cedi took his casual walk, an odd scent faintly crossed his temporarily-restored nose.
Gya! He screamed in his mind.
What the crap is that... crap!?
He tried desperately to avert his senses, but his curiosity got the better of him, and took a glance over the backyard fence, seeing Felix and the others.
I think I know that guy from school. Isn't he popular or something? He asked himself.
And what's that... thing he has? Spoiled juice? Ammo for some immature prank?
Wanting an answer, he tried his hardest to conceal himself as he observed...

"Toast. I'd enjoy toast right now. Could go well with my..." Sarina took a whif of her liquid.... "Uhh, smells like swimming pool to me. Chlorine flavoured blood."
Despite all her quirks, Sarina still had some form of common sense left. This common sense would generally stop her from drinking the chlorine smelling blue liquid, but her curiosity got the better of her.
Sarina raised her vial. "Cheers guys."
Grabbing the green stoppered vial, Chris walked a good distance away from his friends. On the near impossibility that the blood did work, then he certainly didn't want to be crowded a one of 5 dragons in a space previously occupied by 5 teenagers. "I'm not sure about this... But it' too tempting to pass up." Chris muttered as he looked at the contents of the vial.
Trying to keep calm, he carefully pulled out the stopper. Raising his vial like Sarina Chris called, "Bottoms up, I guess." Taking one last deep breath, Chris downed the blood. Yeah, that was definitely blood. Grimacing, Chris managed to put the stopper back on the vial while he blinked. He was a bit surprised that it was in fact blood. He had half convinced himself that it was just some kind of fruit punch or something.
Felix nodded, and raised his glass "To Friendship. If we go down, we go down together, and if it works out, then we're in it together."
He then promptly downed the nasty liquid.
It tasted like swamp.
After nearly gagging the liquid completely out of his system, he managed a swallow and gasped in disgust.
"EUGH! That was... EUGH!"
However, he soon noted that nothing appeared to happen, as he watched Chris and the others drink.
"Feh, man was lying, all we had was some nasty ass liquid."
"Ugh... it tastes like melted metal... horribly cold melted metal" Sarah said before a little coughing fit caught her. That had to be the nastiest thing she had ever tried before. Damn, it may not be dragon blood but it was something supernatural alright, if only by the taste.
"God... I don't know if that will stay down.
For a brief moment, Cedi's mind was utterly disgusted.
What... the... CRAP...? He asked himself.
By which, he referred to Sarina's claim that chlorine flavored blood is delicious. He promptly leapt away from the fence and hid his head away in the concrete to try and bleach this strange thought from his mind...
... WAAAAAIT a minute... He promptly stopped.
Did she say that her vial had some kind of BLOOD inside of it before she drank it? He recalled, piecing together the logic of what everyone said. For one, Felix, right after drinking his vial, mentioned that a man had lied to them about whatever they just drank, in terms of being ripped off. And as far as Cedi could think of, the only instant gratification you get from consuming something is its taste. A healthier life and all that infomercial crap never happens immediately.
From what they said, they seemed to be expecting something from drinking those things, and NOBODY SANE would expect blood to taste good. What could they, or at least that one girl, possibly expect to gain from that...? He became determined, analyzing the five friends from behind the fence as if he was an assassin, aiming a rifle at five marks...

Kyle was starting to have second thoughts about drinking the vial. It was obvious he did drink the vial and it actually did turn him into a dragon, it would change his life but the direction it did was unknown. It might be impossible to take human form again or a dragon might not be as awesome as a creature he thought. But seeing the willingness of the other four to drink the blood, he decided to join in.
Besides...if I am a large dragon it would be hard to be the little brother...
Taking one quick drink from the vial, Kyle's mouth felt a wave of heat. "Heh, it burns...hope it doesn't always feel like that when I breathe fire!"
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.Mike opened the window and called out.
"So you drank it? Was it salty?"
"It tasted like swamp!"
"You've tasted swamp before?"
"I...No! Of course-"
Felix stopped talking via a sudden churning of his insides and the feeling of something rising in his throat. He lurched ever so slightly forward, passed it off as gas, and tried again.
"Of course-"
The feeling in his throat rose again, Felix visibly lurched forward in discomfort. Once more for good measure, because there was no way in hell-
"BLEEEAAAUUUGH."
A nasty mixture of blood, Pot Roast, cake, and party foods erupted from his mouth and onto the backyard, but mostly blood. Felix collapsed onto the ground on his hands and knees, shocked and staring at his dinner. Did the shopkeeper poison this stuff? He didn't feel necessarily poisoned, but he did just fucking puke up his insides.
"Felix!" Mike rushed from the kitchen and came into the backyard. Sliding to a stop next to his nephew.
"Christ! I thought I warned you about this!"
Felix coughed and wiped his mouth with his sleeve, smearing it with blood.
"Heh, no risk, no reward, right?"
"This isn't a reward! You're probably poisoned! You all probably-"
"GAAAH!"
Felix heard his spine deliver a nasty crack. What the hell kind of poison is-
He then saw the skin on his hands turn black.
...Oh.
Mike's eyes were like olives in the middle of a dinner plate. There was no poison in the world that could break a spine. Felix's spine made another loud cracking noise, and Felix groaned in pain.
"...Felix what is...?"
"Mike."
Felix turned his head to him, eyes bloodshot.
"Get inside."
Mike slowly stood up and backed away, before dashing inside and heading into the basement, where his lab was.
Felix toppled in pain. Curling up on the ground next to his puke, he focused on his hands, His fingernails were growing thicker, longer and darker.
No. It's just a dream. I'm asleep. I'm exhausted from the party. This is just a-
Another crack, the pain brought him to the reality of the situation.
There was no way on earth this was a dream.
He looked blearily at his friends, hoping he was the only one.
He was wrong.
"I... don't feel well..."
That was the last thing Sarah said before she felt a horrible pain emerge from her belly. Something rose up her throat and before she could help herself she fell to her hand and knees, and vomited a lot of blood.
What the... Blood? Why... is everything red?
Before she could ponder anything else about her current situation, her thoughts were shattered by a horrible pain concentrated on her forehead. It was way worse than her worst headache, a terrible feeling like her own head would explode at any moment.
A cry of pain escaped her lips as her vision grew blurry and finally she closed her eyes as she collapsed into the floor. By that point the agony extended through her whole body and she felt a terrible cold spread inside of her. Tears escaped her closed eyes and even though it was summer her ragged breath came out white.
At that moment Sarah was unaware of anything but the torture, trapped within the agony of what she felt and so she was unable to notice the changes her body was experimenting.
"Woah, woah, someone call nine- *Crack*" Sarina's spine started extending itself, interrupting her thought process. First thing that came to her mind, extreme pain. Then, something within her abdomen started shifting. She thought, "Huh, guess this is what childbirth feels like. I should remember the sensation for later." Then, her rational thought disintigrated and was replaced with burning within her limbs as her entire body began to undergo rapid metamorphasis.
Her fingernails began to take the shape of claws and her tailbone extended itself to past her body's length, growing a shape of a tail around it. Her skin began to change into scales with beloved blue colour of hers, and out of her back came wings. All of this change tortured her nerves as they sent warnings of pain to her brain. One thought managed to pop out in her head during this time.
"Take it like a man."

Chris felt the effects of the blood immediately after replacing the stopper. He felt funny. Ha-ha funny. So much so that he started laughing. He laughed so hard that he started coughing. Putting his hand to his face on reflex, he felt something splash onto his hand. Once he stopped coughing for a moment, he pulled it back and saw blood. Oh, dear.
Finally the pain registered to his mind after what seemed like an eternity. Chris immediately dropped to the ground, puking heavily before collapsing to the side. He would be blissfully unconscious for the duration of the transformation, as his body for lack of a better word rippled into its new shape. His neck elongated, stretching out and widening as his face turned more and more lizard like. A green scaled tail burst from the back of his pants, and his entire outfit was destroyed by the sudden growth of his transformation. Shortly, where Chris stood only moments before, now lay an enormous passed out green dragon.
Seeing the people around him in pain from the blood's affects, Kyle had no words only thoughts.
I knew I shouldn't have drinked from the vial...it was just poison from a twisted old man...
Kyle started to cough up blood, than coughed up more blood and than the coughing was replaced by puking. Soon, his senses began to turn off, not just sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste but senses that Kyle didn't know he even had, the sense of direction, balance and time! In the end there were only two senses that were functioning during the transformation, Kyle's sense of temperature and pain.
The boy was feeling immense heat but that was nothing compared to agony of his body changing. His skeleton was like clay, some bones were changing in size, some bones were changing in shape and new bones were appearing. He could tell the later by things growing out of his mouth, replacing his old teeth and what seemed to be wings coming out his back. The muscles and organs in Kyle's body were not catching up with his bones, increasing his suffering. There was a bit of pain from the tightness of Kyle's clothes but they quickly lost the struggle against his ever-growing body.
The same words repeated in Kyle's mind over and over again...
"MAKE IT STOP!"

Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.Felix looked on at his friends as they too succumbed to the pain. He looked away and tried to inch further from his friends, not able to watch.
And found himself face to face with Sarah.
As he desperately reached out to her, his life flashed before his eyes. His parent's death, moving to live with Mike, his first day of school, his first A, The first time he kicked a soccer ball, going to Middle School, meeting his friends, meeting Chris, Kyle, and Sarina for the first time, High School, meeting Sarah, being the only one there for her after her near robbery, their first kiss, their first date, homecoming, today, the party, the Shop Without a Name.
The vision of the Shopkeeper firmly imprinted itself in his mind, that soft smile, the canaries, those blue eyes. Those slitted blue eyes. The words he said.
"When you drink a dragon's blood, you become a dragon."
Felix's eyes went wide with shock as the message hit home. The last thing he saw was Sarah's face before a green film covered his eyes completely.
This was happening.
He was becoming a dragon.
All of the bones in his body felt like they were being torn apart. Felix lurched up in pain, delivering a horrific scream. It didn't even sound human, it sounded like the cry of a large, wounded animal. He lurched forward on all fours, eyes shut in pain as his body twisted and contorted. He heard popping noises on his neck and on his rump, his spine was expanding, a tail was tearing out of his pants, his neck was getting longer. His pinkies shrunk and atrophied off completely, he felt his pinkie toes do the same. His vision was naught but green as his eyes split open, as though a sword had cut through them, a pure black, thin pupil emerged, and his vision returned, blurry at first, but then sharper than ever, allowing him to see every detail of the transformation. He saw strands of hair fall from his head and bony growths pierce the back of his neck. He looked at his hands again. They were now claws. Almost black long, sharp nails on long, lanky fingers. A layer of webbing sprang between them. His legs contorted painfully, his feet grew painfully long and his shoes and socks ripped apart.
Damn, he liked those shoes.
All of his clothes were ripping apart, actually. His body swelled in size, almost as large as, no wait, larger than a horse, his shirt ripped apart, his jeans tore and fell off. His boxers couldn't handle the stretch either. Felix would've been concerned about covering himself up, if he could think past the pain, there wasn't anything visible down there anyways. His skull felt heavy as a crushing headache erupted. Great, more pain, just what he needed. Horns emerged and soared back over his lengthened neck, he coughed, something green came out and landed on the ground. The grass below sizzled and died. Acid. The lower part of his spine kept growing and would not stop, a tail emerged, a sharp, sword-like barb emerged from it. All the while, his skin turned black and scales emerged, black, brown, and green. His chest grew massive, his heart grew massive, The scales that covered it were giant.
One final, devastating crack in his back forced Felix to scream in pain one final time. Except the scream was a roar. Like a dolphin breaching the surface; two long, thin, membrane covered growths emerged from his back.
Wings.
The transformation complete, Felix whited out from the pain alone and collapsed, his breath ragged and fast. He couldn't think, he could barely breath, his head felt as though it were on fire, and there was nothing he could do but close his eyes and pass out.

Kyle's transformation into a Red Dragon had finally finished. The dragon's senses had returned and were noticably different from his human ones. His senses of smell, hearing and sight all got sharper. However, the transformation has lead Kyle's intellect to be replaced by the instincts of a beast.
Unlike Felix and Chris, Kyle still had the energy to move around with his four legs and seeing his own kind down on the ground caused him to panic. He retreated further into the forest, trying to get away of an non-existant threat.

Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.Sarah did not feel well.
It was bad enough when she drank the potion, bad enough to make her lose her strength and cry in pain. But then the changes were yet to come.
She was already changing on the inside, her insides felt like they were freezing and every taste of the august air burned at her throat and nostrils. The first noticeable change where the little nubs of bone that broke the skin of her back as they emerged from the girl's spine. From them the scales started to appear, painfully stretching her skin thin as they formed and demanded more space on her body, forcing it to grow with each new one.
Sarah spine grew longer until her old human body couldn't contain it anymore as it emerged from outside her skin. It formed new flesh and muscle as it grew and then developed scales and the teenager felt how with it pulled every part of it from inside her.
From the prison of her mind, Sarah thought took weird turns as she pleaded and cried for everything to stop No, no, please, no! Stop... there's nothing more... nothing more to give... nothing more to take... it's not possible... please... it hurts!
But the transformation always found somewhere to take the what it needed to change Sarah, and the girl felt every part being ripped, taken, stretched and given form.
Her arms where broken and reshaped, longer and stronger as the scales started to cover them too. Sarah pinky finger painfully retracted from her hand, affixing itself as a useless clawed vestige a little bit higher on her arm. Her thumb, too, was broken as it took it's new place. Her remaining fingers grew longer and stronger, covered in scales and her nails turned into sharp claws which she dug deep into the soft ground.
A similar transformation occurred on her legs, as the previous soft human limbs were reshaped into those of a dragon. Nearly everything had to change to turn her into a proper quadruped.
Sarah felt next how her wings pulled from deep within her to from themselves. Slowly and painfully they broke through the hard scales of her bag, stretching and claiming more space as they grew bigger and bigger.
Finally, the transformation reached her head after the while it took to stretch her neck until it was a lot longer. The girl felt the magic of the transformation as if it was pulling hard at her eye sockets. Had she opened her eyelids she would have been able to see how her view of the world changing as her eyes were pulled towards the sides of her head.
Sarah's ragged breath grew quicker as she felt her face grew longer, her jaw turning into a snout and her small teeth replaced with razor sharp fangs.
By this point there was nothing left but tattered remains of her clothes, and the transformation was nearly complete.
While the pain still covered her new body, there was one place in particular where the pain was still agonizing. Right on her forehead... Did she still have a forehead?.. Sarah's battered and tired consciousness barely knew anymore... but whatever it might be called, in that place all the pain was slowly concentrating itself.
I... can't take it anymore... Please... No... Stop it...
Unfortunately, her prayers were left unanswered as in one sudden transformation, the crest of the white dragon broke through her forehead in a single flash of pure agony.
After that and one last cry Sarah's consciousness was filled with pure white.
When he was deep in the forest, the reasoning mind Kyle had as a human returned. He was curious to see what his new body was like and with his long neck it was easy to inspect.
The most obvious changes to Kyle's were the red scales that emeged on most his skin, they shined like rubies in the moonlight. These scales would not be found on his lower side of his body, where a yellow underbelly took it's place.
Despite becoming a reptile, Kyle had grown a line of hair on his back. This extended from the back of his tail to the hair on his head. The hair on his head seemed to have gotten longer and bushy. If Kyle wasn't in awe with his new form, he'd show dissatifaction at the hairstyle the transformation had given him.
Kyle wings seemed to be standard fare as dragons go, they were leathery and looked like what you'd expect from a bat except lacking fur.
The front claws seemed to have kept some of the dexterity back when they were hands. Kyle could grapple or lift something but couldn't manipulate fine tools and with his quadrupedal body he would need at least three feet on the ground.
Although he was about to test his body out, memories resurfaced to Kyle, namely one with his fellow blood drinkers unconcious on the ground. He was in a rush to help them but his body was not. The transformation and retreat earlier had worn Kyle out, causing the dragon to collapse to one of his sides.
I can't just give up...they could need my help...
Kyle tried to get back on his four feet but it was of no use as his flesh would not comply and he slowly dozed off.
"Dammit" was Kyle's last thoughts before going to sleep.

Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.Cedi, witnessing all of the Body Horror, hid himself in the concrete again.
OH... MY... He stuttered in his mind, unable to locate any words that could describe his own thoughts. Even as someone who has seen the impossibilities of Arcadia himself, he could barely comprehend what he had just seen.
He just witnessed the birth of five dragons.
But... but... He tried to reason with himself. ... that's impossible! Unless I missed something during my stays in Arcadia, I don't have a single clue how a human could become a dragon! Heck, let's consider the fact that they did this AT ALL. Indeed, he was certain that SOMETHING was amiss if five random teenagers had the opportunity to become the likes of the world's most powerful 'myths'. Despite his nerves, he tried to muster whatever courage he had to see what they would do next, at least until he knew what to do himself.
Mike rushed back from the basement with a first aid kit in hand, hoping to help Felix in any way possible.
He hit the back door and burst through.
And saw 4 dragons lying in his backyard, and one flee into the forest behind the house.
The first aid kit fell from his hands in shock.
The resultant sound of the kit hitting the floor brought Felix back to reality. The pain was gone, his breathing was normal, but he sure as hell didn't feel normal. Where was he? What was going on? A noise! He snapped his head up and looked to the source. A human? He looked familiar, almost as if he knew him. But why would he know a human? He growled, he knew no humans.
Mike stepped back slowly. Where there was 4 kids and his nephew were now 4 dragons, and one fled the scene. Another one was up and growling at him. Mike's mind raced, dragons weren't real, for one. Felix drank some weird blood or something and made him hurl, for two, and he could have sworn his arm was turning black before he raced inside.
"...Felix?"
The dragon the human called Felix stopped growling. Felix? is that my name? Why would this human call me... Oh my god.
Felix's memories came back in a flood. The draconic instincts subsiding to intelligence and empathy. The sudden rush gave him a headache. In response, he brought his head down and swayed it. Putting everything together. He looked at Mike again. Could he even speak with this snout? It was worth a shot.
"...Mike?"
His voice was notably a lower pitch, but otherwise unchanged.
"Oh, thank god. What the hell happened to you?"
"I... I'm not sure."
Sarina regained her senses slowly and gradually. The first to come back was smell and taste, the taste of chlorine. This quickly was brushed aside by the scent of grass and wide open sky.
"Strange," she thought. "I could never smell grass before."
Next was her touch. She did in fact feel grass beneath her. However, what exactly was feeling the grass was not skin, but blue scales.
"Hell yes, I'm blue.."
Her eyesight and hearing came back at once, and after taking in the surroundings, Sarina finally understood what had happened.
"There goes all the science I ever knew. Wonder how I could use my super dragon form to my profit. Wait, can I even get back to human form?" Sarina actually started to pay attention to the other dragons, wondering if they were Felix and his friends.
"Oi, Mike I'm here too."
Her own voice's pitch did not change and was completely recognizable as her own. However, her speech reverberated within her neck and echoed out when she spoke creating a layered effect.
The white dragon woke up no long after... opening her blue eyes for the first time since the start of her transformation. However those weren't the same eyes as before.
Blue reptilian eyes moved slowly to take in their surroundings. The dragon was a little tired... and she felt pain for reasons she couldn't understand. Around her... more downed dragons... and a curious biped creature. She felt like she should know it... but that thought was quickly eroded by her anger.
The white dragon stood up slowly and opened it's jaws... from the which a breeze of cold air emerged, together with a low threatening growl as it looked straight at the small biped creature that most likely was the source of her pain.
Chris was, oddly enough, the first to fall unconscious from the experience and the last to awaken. It's funny how sleep can ease a person's process through so many things. It allows people to undergo certain operations painlessly, and most of a person's growth occurs while asleep. Being unconscious during most of the transformation certainly helped Chris' mind adjust to his transformation into a dragon.
Normally, Chris would have been groggy when waking up, but not this time. Not when he woke up to this feeling. He could feel the wind. He could feel the grass swaying from the wind. He could feel the trees rustle from it. He could feel, or rather, sense, the animals in the nearby forest. Some would ignore the wind, some would seek shelter from it. Some were more worried about the enormous red lizard creature wandering into it.
Chris was so enraptured by the feeling that he didn't even notice the smell at first. He just continued laying there momentarily, his eyes closed as he sensed the nature around him. Well, until he finally noticed the smell. The smell in question was his puke, which he had luckily avoided falling into when he transformed. Unfortunately, with the way he landed the end of his snout was right next to it. Once the smell finally registered he flinched.
"Ughhh... I shouldn't have had seconds halfway into the party." Chris muttered aloud, his voice both slightly deeper and layered. shaking his head a little, he finally got up and began stretching. Several popping sounds could be heard as he experimented with just how flexible his new body was. 'Oooh, it'll take a while to get used to this neck.' The new green dragon thought as he turned his head back towards his body to get a good look.
Finally done testing his body, he looked back towards where his friends were located. "The shopkeeper wasn't just screwing with us after all. Looks like the joke's on us, isn't it?" Chris said as he bared his teeth in what one must assume was an attempt at a smile. "Life just took a turn for the amazing."
Felix looked at the white dragon, assuming it was Sarah. He leaped forward in his new body between Mike and Sarah, blocking their path. He looked at her, a genuinely concerned look in his eye.
"Sarah, stop. It's okay."
Felix stumbled, but caught himself before he fell over, he shouldn't have moved so suddenly. It'd take some practice, moving around on four legs. He craned his neck over to look at himself, shocked with the initial flexibility of his long neck. His scales were black as night and muddy brown on his body, with the occasional green splotch or streak her and there. He tested his body, moved every bit from his front claws to his back claws to his tail to his wings.
He tested his senses, his vision was better than ever, in the forest, even though he was a fair distance back, he could see the red dragon he assumed was Kyle, sleeping in the forest. He could even hear him, he could hear Sarah's breathing and Mike's heart beating wildly. He could smell the puke all in his yard and the feces a dog had left in his front yard. His body felt strong and agile, him moving between Sarah and Mike was almost natural.
A thought hit him. It hit him so hard he had to blink and look away, jostling his head.
"Guys." He said, his voice reverberating through his long throat.
"W-we're dragons. Like... something that shouldn't exist."
"Yeah," Mike said. "And looking at you, suddenly questioning everything I have ever learned about science, ever. This is... you can't get seen! What if the neighbors see you! Follow that red one into the forest! Go! I'll follow after making sure no one's freaking out!"
Mike went back inside. Felix stepped forward with one claw, looking at himself, this is going to take some getting used to. He leaned back on his hind legs and leaped forward, past Sarah, landing and promptly tumbling into a scaly mess.

Felix looked at the falcon consuming the pigeon with a raised eyebrow.
"That's the... power of... Windex? ...Anyways."
He took the colors and handed them to the respective friends who wanted them. Chris got Green, Kyle got Red, Sarina got Blue, and Sarah already claimed White.
"I'm white and your black, hunh?" Felix commented on this. "I guess opposites do attract."
Felix flicked the stopper off with his thumb and smelled the liquid.
It smelled like swamp.
"Eugh. Well. What do you guys think? A toast?"
