Don't know anything, but their parents must hate them. Also, welcome

I can't stop listening to thisKinda, I guess? I don't really remember anything about them except they were like Dee-Dee with different ethnic backgrounds.
Wasn't one black and one asian?
Everything happens for a reason. The reason is a chaotic intersection of chance and the laws of physics.Yes, firestarter. Lee Lee is Asian and Mee Mee is African American. And as for their filmography, Lee Lee and Mee Mee, Dee Dee's friends, appeared in the following Dexter's Laboratory episodes so far: Double Trouble, Tribe Called Girl, Beard to be Feared, That Crazy Robot!, Techno Turtle, G.I.R.L. Squad, Dee Dee's Tail, Better off Wet, Trick or Treehouse, and last but not least, Dee Dee's Rival.
Like Mandark's sister, Olga Lalavava, Lee Lee and Mee Mee are notorious for not appearing outside the earlier 1990's seasons of the official Dexter's Laboratory canon, but I wish I should bring them back for maybe something like a twelve-part live action/animated theatrical big screen, big budget fantasy epic based on and featuring characters from Dexter's Laboratory and the Powerpuff Girls, and with such characters brought to life as traditional 2D hand drawn 'toons, entitled Dexter's Odyssey, for which Dee Dee's Asian Friend, Lee Lee should be the main central female protagonist besides Dee Dee, and should be also referred to as Leilung'salu and/or The Avatar. Or something like that. Just kidding.
Welcome to the forums, timbox 129! As for Dee Dee's friends....I actually can't remember them that well, but they always struck me as pretty much Dee Dee Expys. I preferred characters like Monkey and Mordecai for minor characters.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Well, they were smarter than Dee Dee, if the "bionic turtle" episode is anything to go by.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987And I think Lee Lee and Mee Mee are my two favorite female characters from my all-time favorite TV show, Dexter's Laboratory, besides movies, books, dinosaurs, Dexter's Lab (said show), my all-time favorite movie, James Cameron's AVATAR, and especially, the Na'vi and avatars in that movie. In a theatrical big screen, big budget, live action/animated fantasy epic film project idea that I have, Dexter's Odyssey (which I envision as a vast canvas on the scale of Wagner's Ring Cycle, an epic tale that might take a dozen (that is 12) movies, all of which should be made concurrently, back-to-back, and at once, to tell in full as a single epic narrative), Lee Lee and Mee Mee should be, besides Dee Dee herself, the prominent female characters in my movie, with Dee Dee's asian friend, Lee Lee being the main central lead female protagonist alongside Dexter and Dee Dee and Mee Mee, as well as Dexter's mentor, romantic love interest and friend, as well as a mighty warrior princess girl wielding a magic sword also referred to as Leilung'salu as well as The Avatar. In Dexter's Odyssey, according to an ancient prophecy, Lee Lee is to end the evil reign of the Dark Lord, Mandark (Dexter's Rival).
Wait, what?
Well, what I said, Otogi, is that Dee Dee's friends, Lee Lee and Mee Mee from Dexter's Lab are my two favorite female characters from that show, and that I like them besides that show, movies, books, dinosaurs, James Cameron's AVATAR and especially the Na'vi and avatars in that movie. What I also said is that Lee Lee and Mee Mee should be the prominent female characters besides Dee Dee in my Dexter's Lab movie, Dexter's Odyssey, with Lee Lee being the main central lead female character in that movie project of mine as well as a mighty warrior girl and princess who should stop Mandark from destroying civilization, Lord of the Rings-style!
(... Backs away slowly).
Dude, are you serious? You have to be honest with us.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Uh, because...that just sounds so amazingly awesome it's too hard to even contemplate! Literally, I'm at a loss for words.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction. It actually does sound like a good fanfiction idea. Ever think about hitting our Writer's Block forum?
Yes. I did hit the Writers' Block forum and I think that besides being a good fanfic idea, Dexter's Odyssey would also be a fan movie project, a major motion picture project, an independent film project, an epic project, a fantasy movie project, a traditonal 2D animated movie project, a live action movie project, and even a special effects movie project, all rolled into one twelve-part epic saga, so even more than just fan service, Dexter's Odyssey which will star Lee Lee (Dee Dee's Asian friend), Dexter, Dee Dee, and Mee Mee (Dee Dee's other friend), from parts one through twelve, should also be multiple things in one. And it's also gonna be a huge phoenomenon and a quantum movie event just like 1977's Star Wars, and even James Cameron's AVATAR.

Now I know you're joking around with us.
It's a perfectly fine idea for a fanfic, but trying to sell it out and cashing on it? You think you're Chris-chan?
I am not Chris-Chan. Nor do I look like him. Anyway, let's get back to the original topic.

Come on Napoleon, that's not cool.
Anyway, any ideas on the story?

Total loss for words.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.C'mon, you know he's pushing it too far beyond believability.
Otogi, as for the plot:
Dee Dee’s friends, Lee Lee and Mee Mee come over to her house for a slumber party and her brother, Dexter (who owns a top secret laboratory as vast and expansive as NASA), wanting to learn more about girls and an ancient legend known as The Avatar, spies on Dee Dee, Lee Lee and Mee Mee in her room. Dexter is discovered by Lee Lee, who decided to take Dexter under her wing as her pupil and lover.
When the villagers in Dexter’s neighborhood, including Mom and Dad, Lee Lee’s wise and gentle Uncle Taikiroh and a wizard named Akelûng discovers that Lee Lee is in fact, the Avatar Leilung’salu who is to bring about the downfall of the evil Dark Lord Mandark, Lee Lee, Dexter, Dee Dee and Mee Mee must take a epic, perilous, Lord of the Rings-style quest to the volcanic fires of Mount Nostradamus in Mandark’s kingdom to destroy Mandark and break the power of the Dark Forces, while encountering dinosaurs, dragons and even the Powerpuff Girls and Mojo Jojo along the way.
That's my idea for the plot.
It's an Internet forum Napoleon. We all come from different entertainment and media backgrounds, each with our own unique ideas, beliefs and values. That's what makes TV tropes so rich and diverse!
For instance, I thought Tim Burton's Alice In Womderland was on par with Wicked as a modern adaption of a literary classic and am glad they cancelled Invader Zim.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Uh, Timbox? Just as a small suggestion: you don't need to explain who the characters are, or remind us the name of the show they're from, each time you bring them up. Mainly because those of us who click on this thread are likely to have watched Dexter's Lab, and especially since you explained all that in the first post of the thread. We sort of understand the premise of the show you're talking about and have the basic required knowledge.
I have a message from another time...There's a huge gap between expressing unpopular opinions and Shameless Selfpromotion of something that, while could have a niche as a fanfic, you are trying to forcefully push around in huge block texts of multi media dreams you intend to make bigger than Avatar and LOTR. I mean, please. Reality Check, people.

Well, I'm new here at TV Tropes.org and this is my first post there, but...for anyone who didn't already think that Cartoon Network and the creator-driven era of animation for television croaked these days...do you remember Dee Dee's friends, Lee Lee, and Mee Mee, from the Cartoon Network Show, Dexter's Laboratory? Do you miss them? What did they look like and what are their ethnic backgrounds? And do you recall any episode(s) or part(s) that involves Dee Dee and/or her friends, Mee Mee and Lee Lee in Dexter's Lab?
