Been playing more on Deulingnexus. A thing I notice about a lot of modern decks is that they come out swinging, but lose stream quickly you're prepared to wait them out. Like Sky Strikers for example will just mill themselves to death if you can stall against them. Plus we have Stormy Mirror Force punishing Extra deck spam really hard, and Nibiru just dropping a meteor on people who decide they want to play solitaire.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Did anyone watch Arc-V? Some clips came up in my youtube recommended due to the algorithm. There's seriously a character who says "spunk yes!"? Given the quotes from those videos, how is there no Radar page for that series?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyBecause it's from the dub and no one in this day and age really cared enough about the dub to watch it in significant enough numbers. But yes, arc v's dub decided to turn the Tyler sisters and zarc, among other characters, into a meme fest.
(no jab Intended at dub watchers - I'm just saying that watching subs is a practice that has become far more widespread tha' back in the DM/GX/5Ds Era and comparznly fewer people have watched the dub )

"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Best bring that discussion to Yu-Gi-Oh! in general.
Where there's life, there's hope.I don't care that much.
The sad, REAL American dichotomynew Madou fusion and new Armed Dragon
I'm amused that the last Madou fusion before this is so broken it ends up Forbidden not even a year after release, and now we get our weakest Madou fusion to date.
The new Armed Dragon's ATK gain.....is permanent??? That sounds kinda crazy for Armed Dragon decks, considering how high the Level for most of them are.
The Armor Dragon card atk boots main purpose is to buff up the LV 10 since it best effect need it to have 10 000 atk.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieSo. Uh. Egyptian God decks.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Tooooooooooooooooooooooormeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeent.
I can't remember if it was here or in a youtube comment, but someone pointed out that Slifer's oft forgotten automatic destruction effect pretty much stops most combo pieces in their tracks, even if they float, unless they're destruction proof. So it might be a good (balance) thing that it doesn't have any innate protection. (Obelisk can't be targeted; Slifer and Ra have no protection on the field at all)

The sad, REAL American dichotomyAre these TCG exclusive?
GIVE ME YOUR FACEAs products, yes, but they seem to be the method Konami is using to get at least some the Prismatic God Box cards into the TCG
Speaking of which a new TCG side set is announced and it seems to be also related to the OCG's PGB

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am a tad concerned about the way a user named "Wuz" is editing pages under the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game area. To wit, this user seems to be cutting quite a number of tropes on the pages citing misuse, particularly with Type and Attribute descriptors and other stuff like Gameplay and Story Integration. I'm not certain if some of these tropes being cut actually do constitute misuse, per se, but I'd like some form of consensus or a second opinion first.
I also find some concern with how that user is editing stuff like the Sacred Beast section in this page. While it may be true that the section might be a bit long (I am considering splitting it into its own page at some point, personally). I don't know if the way this user is going about the edits is constructive, since the user tends to favor straight up cutting examples rather than trying to find alternative tropes that some examples could go under, if indeed trope misuse has occurred. My approach, personally, has always been to try and adapt already inputted text to other more fitting tropes rather than straight up cutting them. The comments that this user has posted while editing the page, saying that he feels like "cutting everything" or that he is "done with" proper editing in favor of cutting text, is somewhat concerning to me, and I feel that it sets a bad precedent for future edits. I don't think a user who is in favor of simply cutting text wholesale rather than finding ways to try and retain said text in some form is generally going to appear constructive to the site, especially if said text isn't blatantly unfitting, trope misuse, or something offensive.
I did edit back in much of the text in the Sacred Beast section that was removed by this user. However, this is more in the interest of me trying to see how it could potentially be edited to better fit wiki standards. It would be harder to do this if much of this text was straight up deleted, as this user seems apt to do. I have also taken some of the users comments into consideration and made some edits to the text to be a little compliant to such comments. However, I do acknowledge that this can be a long process. Part of the reason I am making this inquiry is also in the interest of avoiding an edit war, since I can reasonable foresee one occurring at some point.
The user also does not appear to have as good a grasp of English, so there are some grammar issues I see in his edits. This is not a big concern, IMO, but I feel that it is somewhat of an issue if the text he replaces with his edits had better grammar that what he is replacing it with. When I edit, I try to use a more professional and formal voice rather than a casual one, which this user seems to favor, but that's not a big concern on my part.
I apologize if this is not the correct place to post this, but I'm not sure where else to do so. I hope to seek a second opinion from some one on the matter if the approach this user is taking with those pages is proper or not.

I can kinda see an argument being made for the attribute/type entries being misuse...or rather ZCE bait, but that could be solved by adding such entries to the archtypes general tropes (where context can be added without redundant text) or potholing them in their descriptions.
That said it might also be worth bringing it up on ATT as well

I'm not sure either where to post that aside from in here, maybe in Content Violation Discussion board?
That board is for finding and deleting porn stuff.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I'm not totally sure where to draw the line on certain tropes being used for Attribute or Type descriptors being misuse or not. The user's contention seems to be that all tropes solely used as Attribute or Type descriptors are misuse and don't belong in these pages.
But should Playing with Fire apply to all FIRE Attribute monsters? Or only to monsters that are seen attacking with fire? Evolsaur Elias is a FIRE monster, but it has never appeared in any anime or manga series. We don't see any flames in its artwork and we don't know how it attacks. Should it qualify for that trope? Flames also appear in the artworks of the Evolzar monsters, so we probably can reasonably assume that they manipulate fire in some sense. But they have never been summoned in the anime or seen attacking, so we don't know to what degree their "fire powers" extend. Should they count for the trope? However, Uria is blatantly seen breathing fire in the anime and the artwork of Hyper Blaze. Why shouldn't it count for that trope in this case?
I also see some issues with that user's approach towards some tropes. That user seems to contend that Gameplay and Story Integration does not apply to legacy support designed to enable or replicate interactions in the anime or manga that were not initially possible (likely due to nerfs, certain cards not being initially released, or changes in some card effects between the anime and OCG). Why would the support for Ra from Rage of Ra or cards like Hyper Blaze (or the other Sacred Beast related "attack cards") not count towards this trope then? The point of those cards are to let players do what they saw in the anime in some sense, but were previously unable to. The user does seem to think that card effects that replicate the interaction seen in the artwork of the card itself does constitute this trope though, which is fair, but I don't think that justifies removing listings of that trope that cover legacy support.
There is also the issue of that user seemingly favoring just deleting or cutting entire blocks of text if they are in some way too long or misuse in his eyes. I can't look at that behavior and deem it constructive, especially considering the tone of his comments when making such edits.
But yes, I have also posted this on Ask the Tropers to hopefully get some insight as well.

Well, the card artwork is not the primary source material, the anime is. Yugioh started as a manga that happened to spawn a card game and anime, not the other way around. I'd say the card artwork comes secondary to that card's portrayal in the anime or manga.
That is a problem considering this is about the entries of the card game, where the vast majority of cards were never seen outside of that medium. Therefore we cannot rely on the anime and manga as reference for say if Jasmine (Either version) has Light powers or not.
Though I think the type things are another wrinkle as to use Jasmine as an example again, is she really a Plant Person, or merely a child who happens to have plant related powers, or even that? (keep in mind she and her archetype have a scent theme). For all we know it's Gameplay and Story Segregation all the way down.
I do think its alright to have cards that emulate otherwise impossible play be under Gameplay and Story Integration

The Aromages are just herbalists who tend their garden and make incense/medicine out of plants. Angelica is a fairy that turns the girls into magical girls.

I would like to apologise for my behaviour on the card game character pages. In my eyes they were filled with zero context examples, tropes exclusively used to describe attributes but do not apply to the monsters themselves, and misused tropes wrangled into describing card gameplay effects. I thought that the trope pages are so flawed they would have to be thoroughly purged and rebuilt from the ground up. That’s why I adopted an aggressive delete first policy.
At the very least if you delete something without discussion, state your reasoning first.
Where there's life, there's hope.
I did notice that Harmonia's art lent an ironic component to the name
EDIT: and I also noticed that the "mini-me" versions of the girls seem to be living plush dolls
