Role Model
Three interesting cards in part 1, the plant, the coin flip card, and the zombie. The latter two especially could be annoying when paired with certain cards.

The coin flip card is super bad. Just run Crackdown—it's guaranteed to work if your opponent doesn't have any immediate backrow removal.
The new Zombie is basically a free body considering how Zombie decks work.

How many more card slots are there? I don't think Konami would only add two new SS cards even if everyone is sick of the deck still being meta.

The dark magician red eyes look really cool, the neos wiseman two makes the original card somewhat playable, not feeling that shooting star TG, oh god you made that predaplant link generic WHY DID YOU DO THAT YOU IMBECILES but I guess the effect can be interrupted so at least it's not as bad as it could be, and the five-headed dragon link retrain is hilarious to me because after so many words written on the text, it dies to the lightning ramming into it, admittedly at the cost of it's own existence, but still.

Meanwhile in duel links, neos fusion decks are tier 1.
It's easy to see why they didn't. Sky Strikers are still currently in business via the tins. Outright killing the deck, when it's high meta, when it's good for business as is, is a bad idea.
It clearly existing is not losing players. In fact, the playerbase is growing more and more each day. The TCG doesn't generally ever let a deck go, and they are capitalizing off of that factor right now. Sky Strikers hits during January that neuter the deck are way more likely. The core tins are done selling.
...Also, the lack of a Mystic Mine limit makes me think either it's not having as much of an impact in winning tournaments as people think it does or they plan to sell it in next year's tins, and them already hitting the two best searchers was their solution to weaken it a bit.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.
