My Claw Shrimp
deck laughs
at dark hole.
You taught me that mantra in one of my early duels on the network. I'm glad I didn't listen. Gain tons of life points with soul absorption. Use my opponent's Solemn cards against them. Never play a solemn myself to not help beat myself. In these cases, the best offense is a good defense.

The sad, REAL American dichotomy"these cases" =/= all the time. Exodia-Dragon, for example, needs no defense. You basically just decide "win in a turn or wait for the next game".
The sad, REAL American dichotomyMy recommendation was well received. This pads my ego.
Let us know when you two duel.
Hell, if we have like 8 people, we should have a tournament. Maybe 6, if we have a wild card round. I hate that concept usually, but we might not have enough people.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyStomping me isn't an impressive feat.
Equips my monsters with that annoying mask that doesn't let them attack and makes me lose 500 hp during my standby phase... uses Spell Shattering Arrow when my hp are low enough. D:
At least it's better than getting one-shotted with that damn Satellite Cannon.

I don't know what the standard tournament rules are.
Since you guys have all gotten a lot better, I'm starting to worry that my winning record against most of you may be non-indicative of current ability.
So how many people do we have that might be interested. From tropers I've recently dueled, we've got:
- Me
- Gilphon
- Noir
- Westy
- Kay
- Cru
It's been a while since I've dueled Saiga. And I think he said he hasn't dueled in a while.
Can you believe there was once a time when this thread wasn't just half of the Naruto thread?

The sad, REAL American dichotomyEwww....
That's a really good rule, but I wouldn't be surprised if people put a certain card in their side deck for if they ever faced me. Fortunately my other decks are pretty good, but not as good. I figured I might lose to Cru in the final, but I won't be surprised if I lose a little earlier.
It's actually a really good rule, I'm just somewhat disadvantaged. But maybe I'm just full of myself.
But then again, I haven't actually dueled any of you with my main deck in a while, I think, and I've still been winning. Maybe I'm selling my other decks short. Maybe I'm too attached to my main deck.
No, it's the lockdown deck.
Which title? "Claw Shrimp"? or Handsomnambulist?

The sad, REAL American dichotomyWho's Bo?
I gotta say, Cru does remind me a bit of Bandit Keith: too many decks, teaches the bad guys (people who aren't tropers), and srs business. You wouldn't point your finger at Pegasus, would you?
But I think correlating tropers to characters might be a bad idea, actually. We've got our own decks and styles. I'd love to have a battle city kind of tournament with all the unique deck styles. I'd like to have someone like Tea following me and being a cheerleader. Also, "Battle City" was an awesome tournament name.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy
OF COURSE NOT! Everyone knows cards are better than guns!
And among those other guys, I'm upper mid-tier. 4 of them are better than me. The one you dueled is the Butt-Monkey

"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Well that's rather humiliating. I still blame lucky draws and my refusal to use archetypes in all but one of my decks.
I'm not really finding this funny. Had I won, maybe, but I lost, and that frustrates me.

The sad, REAL American dichotomy
Even funnier, he's the hyper-competitive serious business guy. Noticed how he barely talked? Lawl.
He said your Deck was frustrating.

"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."

"Life points are not important until you can't pay for Solemn Warning"
That is the mantra of most YGO-players.
Destruction means nothing against a Gishki Deck. I would've gotten out another Levianima next turn and had a facedown Mirror Force
