Speaking of eggs, I've had 0 luck trying to get sky eggs except for when a villager gave me some XD

Ugh, is getting those water eggs supposed to be this hard?

I've found them pretty consistently as medium-size 'fish'.

Yeah, I think maybe they're always medium? Not 100% on that. Also, I don't think you'll get eggs if you use bait.

I am amused that the trees that blossom during Cherry Blossom season don't include actual cherry trees.

Like, sure, you don't want to limit it to cherry trees because otherwise some people would miss out. But why not have both cherry and hardwood trees blossom?

Because otherwise there would be no reason to have hardwood trees.

And not everyone has cherries, anyway.

So I love musical instruments and have been collecting them. When Skye moved in, I felt mocked by the lovely upright piano in her house which never seemed to show up in Nook's Cranny. Well, Skye just moved out,and guess what she left in the recycle box?

My attic music room is coming along nicely!

So after an argument about reissue items, not having enough Leaf Tickets to craft them all, and Google Play cards (mostly with my father, who A. had almost no idea what I was talking about and B. wasn't even the one who said we weren't buying any more, that being my mother), I uninstalled Pocket Camp and cancelled my subscription. Not making that mistake again.

Finally had a camper, and it was Gayle! She freaked me out at first cause I thought her alligator nose was a pair of eyes.

Ah, I can see that. I got spooked by a camper once myself; it was Rodeo who managed it. I don't know what I expected when I entered the tent that time, but it sure wasn't a big ol' bull with bright red eyes.

He seems like a sweetheart, though. Not really his fault I jumped.

I had the same thing happen with him!

I think the silliest reaction I ever had to a villagers' appearance was then I found Chevre early on during a Mystery Tour, took one look at her mouth, said "nope" and turned around the other way.

I swear her mouth is lower than the other goats, and combined with her fur color... let's say it makes her head look weird from certain angles.

Awww, I love Chevre! :< She was one of my BFFS on Gamecube.

I once stepped out of my house, had a scorpion promptly start charging at me, and just pivoted right around to go back inside while it scrabbled at my doorstep. Because nope, not dealing with that!

I've also been startled by coming out to find Flick or C.J. right outside. Sometimes C.J. decides to camp out at the koi pond next to my place, so that at least makes sense, but there's been a few random moments where Flick was just... standing there. Staring straight forward while waiting for me to finish exiting.

And the other morning, I must have entered Drago's house right as he was leaving, and found myself in there alone. Dead silent, even though his Phonograph was out. Lights were on, but nobody was home. How did we not bump into each other in the door...?

Aaaaargh! I've been trying to grow pink roses and pink hyacinths but my red and white ones just. won't. breed! It's extra frustrating cause in that time I've gotten pink lilies, orange cosmos, orange hyacinths, orange roses, and even blue windflowers.

Could be worse.

You could be trying for blue roses and green mums, going crazy over the months as you have everything set and are just trying to finish your flowers with the last 2 because those two purples and fields of hybrid reds won't just give you what you want

green mums i got completely by accident when i let my mum field get overrun

I actually got rid of a lot of my flowers after deciding having Lillies of the Valley sprout up randomly was more trouble than it was worth. Not to mention that I hate flowers in general. Always pollinating, attracting wasps, and telling me that it's kill or be killed.

I also got green mums on accident. Was gifted blue hyacinths and purple roses. Still waiting on purple tulips, pansies, and windflowers, and black roses and cosmos.

Reached 5 stars recently, despite having IMO a mediocre island. Whatever. Isabelle is happy.

I still need purple windflowers and blue roses. I recently revamped my rivers by splitting the one that used to run all the way through my island into two, diverting both into lake features. That's opened up a lot of space, so I'm starting my breeding for those from scratch using a different guide while keeping my old flowers active until I can get those properly prepared. Just in case I finally roll the right odds on those in the meantime...
