And that saddens me, because I never wanted to be a gamer who thinks things like "you can't die, it's not a game!" when the game is actually good.

Then I propose Grand Theft Auto: Animal Crossing Edition.

I got my sister hooked on AC after she came home by badgering her into making a character. We got her her own copy of the game for Christmas after she moved to Wisconsin.

She calls it "Animal Farm Crossing."

My birthday today, so I'm checking out what happens on Wild World.

I actually started replaying last night. It was too late to bring all the fruit/shells/whatever to Nook so all I did was shake some trees to get their fruit on the ground, put shells in my house and go around picking weeds (I got one fourleaf clover). I should go on and redo my checklist again I think. And order another wardrobe, I must've sold mine when I was playing last time.

Does anyone want to visit my place or something? I really want Nookingtons.

Wild World, or City Folk?

My mum and I used to love this game.

She adored Portia the dalmatian, I remember that. I don't remember whom I liked the most. Stu the cow was cool, and Pinky the panda was the one who sent me a Valentine's Day card, I believe.

My brother and I recently started a new game on the original Animal Crossing. Part of why we did it was because the villagers kept bugging us to deliver stuff to Sue E, who moved to my other town that I deleted a while ago. I only used that town to get Nookington's.

I mostly play AC when I want to now, which is fine by me. I don't worry about playing every day, I just enjoy events, and a stroll through the town once in a while.

[up][up][up][up] Wild World. I can't play City Folk because I don't want to start over again with the catalog, and I can't transfer the player over because I don't have the Australian version of City Folk. Silly people brought out the Australian version of WW and the European version of CF (which I think is called "Lets Go to the City" on my game? I can't remember) and they're incompatible for the transfering stuff.

Well, I haven't touched Wild World in ages, but I could probably come visit you to buy stuff from you...

[up]Thanks! I'm going to have to leave in a few minutes. It's 11.52 AM Wednesday here at the moment, and I'm going to get back home around 4.30-5.00 PM. Would you be able to be on past 5 PM? Or should we wait until Saturday, because I've got full school days tomorrow and Friday?

I won't have Wi-Fi access Saturday; what about Sunday?

Sunday should be okay. It just depends on what time. It's 4.11 PM here now. What time does it say I posted this message? That might help figure out what time would be best.

11:12 PM. Which... is quite a difference, but not an unworkable one.

Is anyone else here on animalcrossingcommunity.com?

I wish I had Nookington's. I probably could've got it, too, the other day, but the thing disconnected. I did have a puffy hat attached to a letter from Nintendo when I went back in though, even though nothing else remained the same... Why did I get a puffy hat?

New E3 trailer for the 3DS game!

New features on display:

  • Camping, maybe?
  • New overworld features like benches, lamps, and... well, somethings.
  • Hanging out with multiple friends!
  • Ability to change parts of your outfit besides your shirt—pants and shoes!
  • Furniture can be hung on the walls now
  • A new special visitor who follows you around... OR a brand-new NPC, plus the ability to hang out with your friends on the overworld by having them follow you!
  • OMG SWIMMING

Thoughts?

[up][up] I hope so. I think it was something really interesting that implemented in City Folk, and this is coming from someone who had half their town wiped of grass, the process of getting it back made me care and appreciate my town more =p If they have it I just hope that the time it takes to grow back is shorter.

Don't you just hate when you accidentally press the power button and you haven't saved? It's really easy to do on the XL. And then you get shouted at by Resetti for doing it, when you've just lost hours and hours of work.

...oh wait a minute. I was saving letters. Thank god for saving letters = saving the game. Phew. Now I'll just have to write those letters I didn't get to save.
