I like the PBS News Hour much more than the other evening news shows.
Why?
Because I don't have to hear stupid crap about Michael Jackson or other random celebrity things or similarly un-newsworthy stories, and I get much more international reporting, reminding us that the U.S. is actually part of Earth.
Even if some conservatives
would not like to admit that.

It scares me that anywhere near half of all Americans might possibly trust Fox News.
Genkidama for Japan, even if you don't have money, you can help![1]I trust them about as much as I trust anyone else.
Fox News is right wing biased, MSNBC is left wing biased. They both report with a slant based on their political affiliation. Thus conservatives think MSNBC is shit, and liberals think Fox News is shit.
Seriously, enough with the fucking Republican/Conservative bashing, how about you bash individuals instead of making hurr durr blanket statements about every conservative out there being a bible thumping goose stepping fascist, that makes you just as bad as them.
So sick of Conservative being some sort of swear word on this forum. Yes, we have our embarrassments, and right now we have more of those than the Left does. But you have yours as well.
It's like the papers over here. The Guardian might be left-wing biased, but it's mostly reliable. The Times is right-wing biased, but is also pretty reliable. The Daily Mail is right-wing biased and a pile of shit.
All news channels are biased, but Fox News is not only biased, it's the televised equivalent of the Mail.

Although, I tend to be suspicious of all TV news in general because the format is heavily slanted towards entertainment, not news.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play^ That. Yellow Journalism is still alive and well today. Beware of it.

That's why I get my news online.
TYT is more trustworthy then all tv news shows combined.

Continuing our mini-discussion on bias (this thread is probably more appropriate) from the Keith Olbermann thread, I think you all may find this PDF
interesting. They're lecture notes from one of my former professors.

GM: AGOG S4 & F/WC RP; Co-GM: TABA, SOTR, UUA RP; Sub-GM: TTS RP. I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new Empire. If conservatives want to be treated better, they should act better * (not dissing on you; you're fine. But not all conservatives are like you) .
The right wing behaves badly, the left wing is obnoxious and passive aggressive, which is just as bad to me.
Y'all both fucking suck, and I hate both of you for crapping up the nation I live in.
Actually, I think "Grab ur guns" is a fairly accurate summation of the worst of both sides. It's just that, in the USA, the right wing are the only ones with the balls to actually grab their actual guns and demonstrate with them.
Anyway, all things are biased. Complete neutrality is impossible. BBC News is politically "neutral" by UK standards; I don't think I'd be stereotyping to hazard that from a US angle, it appears slightly left-leaning?
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffI hardly think so.
I feel it is. At least with Republicans I can shoot back, Democrats will just get at you from the core, and there's nothing you can do to fuck with them without looking like the bad guy, with the way they slant things. They always play the victim to advance their own agenda.
At least the Republicans are up front for a change, I hate it when people pussyfoot around an issue.
I agree with you. However, the world needs dicks and pussies, since there are always assholes

THERE IS NO SHAME IN BELONGING TO THE LEFT, BEING RIGHT-WING USED TO BE AN INSULT NOT SO LONG AGO accross the pond SAY OUT LOD THAT YOU ARE LIBERAL, THAT YOU ARE LEFTIST, THAT YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR OWN JUSTICE, IN YOUR OWN FREEDOM, AND THAT YOU WILL SAVE THIS NATION, FROM THE EVIL, UNWORTHY SCUM THAT IS THE CONSERVATIVE CONSPIRACY (which sounds way catchier that Liberal Conspiracy) BECAUSE THIS IS YOUR COUNTRY AND YOU WILL NOT SURRENDER IT TO THOSE VIOLENT, SCAREDY, BIGOTED REACTIONARIES, ALWAYS CLINGING TO WEPON IN FEAR OF CHANGE. FOR FREEDOME! FOR PROGRESS! FOR HUMENS! CHANGE! YOU GOT CHANGE! COME ON, HELP THIS NATION OUT! CHAAANGE!

'''YOU SEE THIS DOG I'M PETTING? THAT WAS COURAGE WOLF.Cute, isn't he?None of us, as far as I know, are journalists.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.

"Now, I make a further statement that Fox News is untrustworthy because in a purely private environment, where the loudest and richest voice wins, journalistic integrity takes a serious hit." - breadloaf
This. The nature of the profit motive makes corporate news in general not worthy of much trust. FOX news shouldn't necessarily be singled out for it. For all we know, the likes of CNN might be misleading to a comparable extent but just better at pretending not to be.
